Hello,

May tanong po aq regarding sa work experience.. In total, meron na po aq 6 yrs accounting experience pero nung ng pa assess po aq sa CPA australia, 2 yrs lng po ung nirecognize nila as skilled employment, ung naunang 4 yrs ndi dw po enough to qualify base sa roles and responsibilities khit pa accounting works din xa. Ilang years po ba ilalagay ko sa EOI application? Ung total na 6 years or 2 years? Slamat po s mga mgrereply.

Hello everyone. question po pede po ba magsubmit na ng EOI for visa 489 kahit di pa nagoopen yung code ko for state nomination? Malapit n po kasi mag July and yung code ko last year 1 day lang nagopen then closed agad. Im afraid maunahan ako if sa July 1 pako magsubmit ng EOI then state nom. Appreciate your response po

Pag gawa ko po ba ng skillselect,wait na lang ako sa july 1 kung may opening sa nominated occupation ko? In case open, since nakalodge naman na eoi ko, wala po ba ako gagawin ? Maghihintay lang ako na baka mainvite? Sa anzcosearch ko po makikita yung mga details tama po ba? Kakapasa ko lang ng ielts kanina and it will give me additional 10 points. @MyOZdream You can submit anytime ng EOI, di ka naman maiinvite kung closed pa yong Skill mo...EOIs are valid for 2 years in the system so walang bearing kung open or close ang nominated skill mo...yong sa state sponsorship ang di ka makakaapply unless open yong nominated skill....once a state nomination is approved, automatic invite ka ng DIBP to lodge a visa application

@kisses1417 an approved state sponsorship(application directly to the state-EOI number needed) is needed prior to invitation to apply for visa by DIBP

Ganito process ng WA state sponsorship which is almost the same with other states...im not 100% sure kung NSW ba yong nag imolement na sila ang titingin sa EOI pool kung sino invite nila for state sponsorship...you can check in states' websites kung ano specific req...all info naa www.immi.gov.au

The process for obtaining State nomination is as follows:

Submit an eligible expression of interest (EOI) in the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) SkillSelect database.

For your EOI to be eligible you must meet all the following criteria:

Score at least 60 for the DIBP points test. This includes the points for State nomination which are automatically included in your EOI:

o five points for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190); and

o ten points for the Skilled Regional (provisional) visa

(subclass 489).

Have evidence of a skills assessment suitable for permanent migration in your nominated occupation.

Have an available nominated occupation on the Western Australian skilled migration occupation list schedule 1 or 2 (WASMOL).

Have demonstrated at least competent English language skills through an approved English test.* If you have a passport from the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America or Ireland you are not required to sit an English exam.

Be younger than 50 years of age.

Have at least one year of work experience within Australia or three years of work experience overseas within the last ten years in your nominated or closely related occupation.

Have selected ‘Western Australia’ or ‘any State or territory’ as your preferred State.

@kisses1417 Confirmed...Implemented starting Feb 2015..for NSW, pipili sila sa mga EOI sino invite nila for state sponsorship..unlike other states na direct ka apply for state sponsorship ..then the rest of the process are the same

I see. Thanks @fgs. So ang gagawin ko muna EOI talaga sa skillselect, yung skillselect ba sa immigration site yun ba yung DIBP? And also, kapag nagsubmit ng application sa state, may bayad na agad yun diba at mga show money etc yung maraming requirements unlike sa EOI na kapag nainvite ka, nun mo pa lang ipprepare lahat mga docs? Tama po ba? Im planning to apply sa ACT at SA e, dun kasi nag oopen yung occupation ko under CSOL. Hayyy tapos tama ba, the higher the points

@kisses1417 yes may application fee for state sponsorship...yong proof of funds, di naman hihingin yon..titignan lang siguro yong circumstances mo na talagang pwede ka magkaroon ng pera( stable employment etc etc)...konti lang requirements... Pag visa 190/489(state sponsored), di ka masasama don sa pataasan ng eoi score to be selected.Once approve state sponsorship mo, invited ka agad

Thank you po @fgs! Saan po ba iilalagay yung sa application na may husband ako or de facto? Currently kasi im engaged, e sa dec pa kasal namin. In case i got approved, ilalagay ko sya. After pa ba yun ng state nomination pag application na ng visa? Thanks po.

@fgs, need ko po ba irenew yung passport ko na? January 2016 pa naman expiration kaso sa application ko most likely mag eexpire po yung old passport ko, maka apekto kaya yun? Gusto ko sana kasi by january na ako mag renew kasi para sabay na na bago yung last name ko kasi kasal na ako nun.

@kisses1417 dapat kasi 6 mos yata validity ng passport..pero you can continue with it, pwede mo naman bagohin later, passport and marital status
