Hello. Ask ko lang if meron din ba dito na acs for skills assessment? Medyo hindi pa kasi clear sakin paano ba nila inassess ang skills ng applicant. Aapplyan ko sana iyong software engineer with 3 yrs experience para meron man lang 5pts. Pero nabasa ko sa isang discussion kapag acs daw, minus 2yrs so if ever 1yr lang maccredit sakin. I am not really sure regarding this and would like to ask some help. Thank you in advance!

@fruitys nakita ko po yung SkillSelect invitation pero puro Acctg, Engr and IT only? Wala po sa ibang occupation?

Pasensiya na matanong ako, matagal nako member pero now lang talaga ako madalas sa site. Napapanaginipan ko na nga mga required docs na need ko submit e.

Hi po. May question lang po sana ako regarding sa case ko. Currently po kasi 50 points pa lang ako. Kasama na iyong 10 points for regional sponsored visa and tanging chance ko na lang makapasa and makatungtong ng 60 ay through sa pte (target ko maka 10 points / 20 points). Ang question ko lang po is about sa working experience. Required po ba na maka atleast 2yrs working experience ako? Bale ACS ang assessing authority and software engineer ang aapplyan ko but ang role ko talaga is database admin. Nagcheck din ako regarding sa school na nabasa ko rin dito, nasa section 1 naman iyong university ko. By june kasi mag 2yrs na ako sa work and balak ko sana na pagka2yrs eh mag exam na and if pinalad makuha ang score, mag apply na sana. Thank you po in advance!

@ysabelle Those are just pro-rated occupations. Mga mataas demand and/or marami nagaapply kaya there's specific limits on those occupations.

If you want to see all occupations, check mo yung yellow box on the top of the forums for the two occupation lists (MLTSSL and STSOL)

@marise32 The titles/roles don't really matter as long as you're doing the tasks of what's outlined in the Software Engineer occupation.

When did you graduate? You need 2 years work experience if your degree is assessed as an ICT Major by ACS (and you'll need more if it's not), but you won't get points for less than 3 years from Home Affairs for work experience.

@fruitys Hi, I graduated last 2016, Information Systems sa UST and mag 2yrs work experience na sa June. If this is the case, can I already apply given that 2yrs work experience lang ako? Thanks ulit.

@marise32 mininmum work experience for you to get points for occupation is at least three years.

Minimum points to submit EOI is at least 60 points.

@batman Hi. Pero to have points po sa work, I will atleast have 5yrs work of experience in total kasi minus 2yrs (bachelors if ever) ni ACS para maging 3yrs work experience (5pts). Is it possible to apply na 2yrs work experience lang ako in total minus 2yrs ACS resulting to 0 yrs. work experience kapag nag apply? Babawiin ko na lang sa pte para maka at least 60/70 points.

@marise32 if your degree is closely related to your occupation, 2 years will be taken off. The thing is, the if they assess that your occupation isn't closely related to your degree, 4 years will be deducted. Therefore, if you only have 2 years experience when in reality they feel you need 4 years experience, your assessment will come out as negative in the end.

@RheaMARN1171933 Thank you. Noted. Is it advisable na magpa-assess na ng maaga just to know how many years will be deducted? For example just in case na they assessed na 4yrs will be deducted by the time na 2yrs pa lang ako, pwede ko pa naman punan iyong 2yrs na kulang then pare-assess ulit?

@marise32 at your own risk to be honest. If you're required 4 years experience, your assessment will be a negative outcome which means you just have to submit a new application again later.

Hi! Ask ko lang po, if 2 visa (189/190) yung gusto ko applyan, do I need separate EOIs? If no, may chance po ba na mainvite both at the same time, or isa lang? Thanks po sa sasagot. 🙂

@RejNaix11 better to have 2 separate EOIs for 189 and 190. if same EOI kasi, once ma-invite ka na sa 1 subclass, magffreeze na yung EOI mo and you will no longer be considered for the other subclass 🙂

Hi, ask ko lang po yung sa case ko. May new employer po kasi ako ngayong May 1, 2018 na di po included sa ACS. ask ko lang po kung pwede ko siya i-add sa employment history ko sa EOI and to claim points for it kahit na di siya included sa ACS assessment ko? Thank you!

@rafael_015 you cant claim points in your EOI if you don't have assessment yet from any assessing body. If you want to include your current employment pa assess mo muna sya.

Hello confirm ko lang, ang irereflect ba sa EOI un 10yrs from now lang, based sa assessment? or starting from my first employment? sa assessment ko include ko lahat pero ang outcome un 10yrs from now lang. How about my CV ok lang ba include ko lahat ng exp. may nabasa kasi ako somewhere na dapat walang gap exp? Thank you sa sasagot. I want to make sure lang na tama un EOi ko thanks
