Hello, Rhea. Yes I already lodged my EOI last month for Visa 489. Unfortunately the regions where EEs are accepted are not open for application. Actually, 489 is not an ideal option for me since my family lives in Sydney metro, but I still put in an EOI just to see where it goes. I have 65 points now for visa 189 but not getting an invite so far. I finished my CCL exam this month so hopefully that helps.

Would like to ask how to apply for subclass 190 for NSW. Ihave the following completed requirements:

Age - 25 pts

english - 20 pts

work experience - 15 pts

EA Assessment/IE Degree - 15 pts

total points - 75

Hi guys! I'm new here sa forum and a silent reader too.

I have a few quesions po regarding applying for 190 visa in NSW..

First, ang PR points po ba, the higher points you have the more chances na maiinvite ka or does it mean mas mapapabilis lang yung pagreceive ng invitation mo?

Second po, I have a defacto partner, kakatapos lang namin mag PTE pero di kami umabot sa superior, so 10 points lang nakuha namin both for english. Web developer ako and Architectural draftsperson sya. Ang dilemma namin kasi kung sino ang magiging primary applicant, sa pagcalculate namin ng PR points pareho kaming 70 ang total. Would it be practical if isa lang samin ang mag retake ng PTE based on kung sino ang mas higher ang chance mainvite? Para umabot ng 80 points ang primary applicant. Ako kasi as per checking yung NSW priority skilled occupation list - https://www.industry.nsw.gov.au/live-and-work-in-nsw/visas-and-immigration/nsw-skilled-occupations-list/nsw-190-priority-skilled-occupation-list naka Medium and Web developer and naka Low lang ang Architectural draftsperson.

If you occupation are open in NSW, u can try making an EOI for both of you. Ang trent ng NSW ay pinipili ang mga matataas na points. But sometimes there are exception. If you or your husband fall on the occupation na onti lang ang applicant, may possibility na mapili ka kahit minimum lang ang points mo. You can never tell.... Kaya try mo lang ng itry..

So while waiting. Try ng isa sa inyo na magpataas ng occupation. Provided na ung occupation niya is laging open ha. Sayang naman kung na superior tapos biglang nagclose ung occupation.

for Planning po.. . anyone maybe got same situation... My wife is the PRimary Applicant (Gen Accountant) and plan po talaga namen sa Sydney mag stay (Visa SC 190 NSW) aok naman po engineering technologist (dependent ni misis sa application).. Let say ako po ba can work sa different state like sa Perth kasi ang nature po ng current work ko is OIl n Gas and mostly asa Perth yung mga ganitong employers. Okey po ba letsay mag work ako sa perth pero fly in fly out and sa NSW bale kami naka tira. thanks...

I'm not really sure about this setup. But part of the moral obligations na pinipirman ng migrant is to work and stay with the nominating state for 2 years. Take note, NSW do not issue release letters. You can ask for other opinions na tlagang naranasan ang ganitong situation. (Did they get citizenship even doing this?).... Even if your the dependant sa application, once you were granted, PR kana.. wala ng dependant or main.so maybe think about it...
