Hello,
My partner (Australian citizen) and his brother (PR) are already both in Australia and their sister is still outside. We are planning to apply 835 visa, but the problem is their mother is still in the Philippines but already 83 years old. Will she be eligible to apply?
If we pursue submitting the application onshore whilst they will be on visa 600 given there is no "no further stay" restriction and given the case will be allocated within 30 years processing in which by that time, their mother would have already passed.
Are they going to assess the application straight away and reject knowing that their mother is still in the Philippines? Or are they going to assess the whole application during the 30 year processing?
Please advise.
