@melgB ok. kasi sa TRA di sila nagaassess kung bachelor degree equivalent ang course kaya yung iba nagpapaassess ng qualification sa vetassess para makapagclaim ng 15 points sa education.

@chuckiebhoi #1 yes #2 I think it's in good faith to just disclose your new job, tas mark it na lang muna as not claiming points for it. Kasi if you will be using the new job din for additional points (para umabot sa 5 years, according sa timeline mo), make sure lang po na makaka request ka ng documents sa bagong company.

@cheesyfiona thank you and congrats sa ITA ni fiance! nakita ko timeline mo at napaisip ako magPTE-A kasi naka-additional 10pts kayo dun (kaso walang PTE-A dito sa Qatar. huhu). based on my IELTS scores, mukang may chance pa ko madagdagan. Else, hintayin ko na lang na mainvite mga 60 pointers sa EOI.. hehehe..

Hi everyone, hope someone can help us with a couple of questions...

1) Was checking the ImmiAccount questions kanina for lodging the visas (dependent po ako ng 189 applicant), hoping to get to the documents uploading section. Kaso umabot na sa "Submit Now," pero di pa rin nag uupload ng documents. My question is, when do you upload the docs, after payment? And if so, until when ka pwede mag add ng documents sa ImmiAccount? (Di ko pa click yung "Submit Now" kasi magpapamedical pa muna sana kami)

2) We got married last week and got the ITA on Aug 23rd, my passport's still in my maiden name, and hindi aabot sa 2 months deadline to lodge the visa kung magpapa update pa ko ng passport. (No thanks to super bagal na processing na NSO and DFA) Has anyone tried using the "Other names" to indicate your married name tas mag add na lang ng new passport later on?

--mga documents yan na ina-upload ng mga na Direct Grant, just make sure na yung PTE result nyo is sent sa DIBP via pearson website.

I think no issues kahit maiden name mo ang gamitin, maraming akong nabasa dito na di nag palit ng surname, or maiden name parin ang passport pero OKAY naman silang lahat, mga nasa australia na, naiwan na ako (hugot). hahahah Sa marriage cert naman, tingin ko okay na yung Local civil registrar copy ata yun. ipa-CTC na lang para sure. Naka declare ba sa EOI nyo is married na bago kayo nainvite?

Or kung gusto nyo NSO copy na, punta kayo sa local registrar nyo, ipa-rush nyo, sa pag kaka-alala ko bibigyan kayo ng endorsement letter, para sa NSO.

@Heprex Thank you! Yikes oo nga nalimutan ko pala na baka hingian ako ng TOR as dependent, naisip ko lang kasi CEMI. Yes, nakapag update kami ng status to "married" a week before ITA so parang mas naging confusing for me ngayon kung pano gagawin sa name ko. Saaaad!

Iniisip ko kasi yung details ko, according to current passport (maiden), tas may option to indicate other names you are known by, with a dropdown ng 'reason' for alternate name. Meron namang about before/after marriage. Thanks though, will sort through some threads din :-)

@cheesyfiona If I were you, gamitin mo muna ang maiden name mo. Then, pag may PR grant na, apply ka for new passport for name change. Kapag may new passport na, submit ka ng Form 929 sa DIBP para update mo yung name mo sa system nila. Wag mo muna iworry ang surname ng husband mo. As long as you declared that you are married and as long as it is supported by your marriage cert, you'll be safe.

@maiii Thank you, I'm considering that too because of what I read here, ang worry ko lang is because nag adjust yung Global Processing Time sa website, parang if abutin kami ng 15mos before ma-grant, malamang sa maexpire na din yung passport ko. Right now naghahanap pa kami ng way to be expedited sa DFA appointment, but if hindi talaga ako maka renew, I'll take my chances na din siguro with maiden name passport until the end of its validity.

Goodpm mga sirs..im an electrical engineer. Kunin ko po sanang job code is pang electrician lang or any other technician job. Pag ka ganyan po ba need ko pa rin ba gumawa ng career episodes?.

Hi sir @glennb, if electrical engineering technician po ang ipapa-assess nyo i think no need n po ng career episodes. TRA po ang assessing body for electrical engineering tech. Just read n lng po sa TRA site for the requirements.

P.s. My brother-in-law had the same occupation and got his ITA within 2weeks with 60points. Hope this helps.

Hi! If invited na po, pwede ba kumuha muna ng HAP ID tapos lodge agad ng PR kahit later pa yung schedule ng medical exam? Let's day a week after lodgement. Ok lang po ba yan basta naisaili yunh HAP ID sa application? Thanksz

meron na kaming visa grant lately lang nagkaroon ng bagong passport na apelyido ko...

naipadala ko na ang form 929 at email na request palitan name sa visa, almost a monthwala pa reply... january pa naman ang big move namin....

anyway pag may update na message kita...

pero as early as now mas maige...

hanggang wala pang grant mas okay na mag fill up ka na ng form 929 para sa grant mo wala ng problema sa apelyido mo...

@maiii kabayan saan dapat mag submit ng form 929 sa GSM o sa DIBP?

kasi sa GSM ako ng nagreply same email na nag request na mag fill up ako ng form 929..

@MikeYanbu True, I would like yo eliminate yung uncertainty like that din sana. But anyhow I saw somewhere that the department will not respond to a 929 to confirm. Check yung VEVO daw sabi nung iba, to see if amended and associated na yung new passport with the visa? Na try mo na yun?

Medical question sa mga nakapamedical na-- gaano ka-thorough ang exam? Which of these they do:

Chest xray
Ultrasounds
Blood tests
Urine tests for diseases, HIV, drugs?
Physical exam/inspection
Psych
Any other tests?
