There has been no visa grant (as per immitracker) since Aug 29. Any thoughts on this? Hibernation mode kaya ulit ang DIBP? Or they simply exhausted the monthly visa grant quota?

Nanghiram ako ng credit card ng friend ko. Although mas mababa ng konti ang credit limit nya pero pumasok ang payment.

We even tried calling her cc's contact center, and requested for credit limit increase. Hindi daw pwede. So stressed ako buong araw. Pero in the end kahit walang confirmation nila, nagtry pa din ako, successful ang transaction! God is good!

Hassle sa BDO debit. Hanggang 200k lang daw ang online payment limit nila. Kahit i-set ng agent/ rep ang limit mo, default na up to 200k lang, that is if you request an increase. I can't believe these banks have this rule. Para daw iwas sa fraud, but I was just asking to allow it even for an hour just for the transaction to get through. Ayaw pa din nila. (Same with my friend's cc)

About eon card of unionbank naman, they asked me to register and apply online and the new EMV card will be delivered to a branch of my choice. Pero available pa daw sa 2nd or 3rd week ng September. They don't issue the old eon card anymore.

What a day indeed for me!

Nonetheless I am still thankful for a OKd transaction. :-*

@MissOZdreamer by the way, I intended to use my husband's metrobank debit card also. Mataas ang online transaction nila per day, 300k. When I was about to transfer the amount, BDO online said they allow up to 30k only per day of transfer to other account. How about that? When I thought online banking is convenient!? Even if I had to talk to BDO just to waive it for a day because it's urgent, the answer was NO.

@jacjacjac Hi, I there are rules set by BSP in relation to consumer protection and anti money laundering activities kaya madaming limitations sa online and card banking. Chill lang hehe. Good for you na nakahanap ka ng credit card na may enough limit. Goodluck sa visa processing!

@dorbsdee TB test yan for kids. I would recommend to go for IGRA instead of TST. TST kasi babalik ka pa para makita kung magkaroon ng reaction sa skin. Whereas IGRA is kukuha sila ng blood sample to test for TB. Either way iiyak ang bata so dun kna lang sa di mo na kelangan bumalik

My husband is working for a US bank contact center here in the PH. He said there's always an exception to these rules. They are not allowed to offer some options yet they are still possible, situations like emergencies and urgent matters are considered. Well, PH isn't different from other countries with fraud and money laundering problems, so definitely chill lang ako. 🙂)

@MissOZdreamer No. The bank told us to pay for the difference in amount to cover the overlimit amount. 280-250(cc limit)=30k I paid over the counter. But still BDO said it will take 2-3 days for it to be reflected on the cc. Even nakiusap na ako sa BDO they can't allow that. And ang isa pang problema, holiday ang sept. 1, so most probably, Tuesday next week pa ang crediting.

With fingers and toes crossed, nagtry pa din ako magbayad online using my friend's cc. Talon ako ng talon after successful ang transaction. 🙂)

So maybe allowed ng system ang a little over limit sa cc, but with charges of course.

@engineer20 Hello Sir maraming salamat po for clarifying. Inadvice po kasi ako ng Recruitment agent ko na dapat mauna daw 457 then saka ang 189 pero gustong gusto ko na tlaga ilodge ang 189 ko hehe.

@jacjacjac Hello ma'am nakaraos na anak ko kahapon sa blood test praying for favorable results. 2 years old pa lang anak ko and as far as i know po 2 years old and above kailangan na ng TB test whether skin or blood if mag apply po ng Permanent Visa.

To generate a HAP ID, nag create na ako ng immiaccount pero medyo naguguluhan ako sa mga next steps. paano magenerate ung HAP ID? after magenerate ung HAP ID anu na next step? salamat in advance.

@jacjacjac ah ok so nag overpay nga kasi nagbayad ng amount para lumagpas sa credit limit. Ganun kasi din ang ginawa nung iba. Ang alam ko din real time yan kaya pede na din gamitin ang cc same day. Actually machecheck sa bdo online how much ang available credit limit ng credit card. Ganyan din ang plan kong gawin pag nag lodge ako ng visa kasi kulang ang credit limit ko.

At least ngayon ok na. Waiting game na lang kyo. God bless 🙂

@ZboyandAngel Cajulao hmm ano ba mas priority mo? Ang makapag work sa OZ or maging permanent resident doon? Pag nka 189 ka, you can always apply for a job in any state that you want. Ung recruitment agent mo na nagpupush ng 457 meron ba silang commission once employed ka na ng employer na nag sponsor syo? Isipin mo din ung long term 🙂 anjan na ung opportunity. Sayang naman kung mawawala pa 🙂

Hello @MissOZdreamer Main priority po tlga namin is to be Permanent resident po kaya importante po tlaga ang 189 sa amin. Nirerecognize lang din po namin ang fact kasi na blessed pa din ako dahil kahit hirap po makakuha ng sponsor nowadays e may nagconsider po sakin at sa magandang location pa po. A lot are advising that i lodge the 189 as early as now to follow na lang ang 457 pero po may mga nababasa din ako na once naapprove ang 189 tapos after e naapprove ang 457 e macacancel ang 189 which is sayang naman. Hindi po kami maka proceed ng 457 kasi po sa 15th pa ng September lalabas ang police clearance namin from Singapore so no choice to wait po. Pero our plan is Once we lodge the 457 immediately the day after e ilolodge na namin ang 189 so technically mas una pa rin malolodge ang 457. Do you think that would be the best way to go about this? Thanks po.
