Regarding IELTS Expiry Date and EOI invite

Hello Experts,

I have submitted my EOI (Visa 189) for System Analyst on 26th April, 2017 with 70 points. I am claiming my partner points in my EOI. We got invitation to apply visa on 23rd August,2017. My wife has competent English and following is her IELTS details:-

Date Of Test Take: 16th Aug,2014

Result Date : 17th Sep, 2014

Listening 8

Reading 8.5

Writing 6.5

Speaking 7

We have put IELTS test date as 17th Sep,2014 in EOI profile.I got to know from online blogs we have to put test taken date instead of test result date. In such case IELTS got expired on 16th Aug,2017 which 7 days before invite. Will this lead to rejection of my visa ?

We have already applied for next round of PTE test and really hopeful that if required Case Office can contact us for updated score card.

Also how can we connect DIBP as you contacted them. Please help.

@zizy86 as i know, the validity of IELTS score is valid for 3 years so when you have lodged your EOI the IELTS score of your wife is still valid. In my humble opinion, you should contact DIBP and provide an updated english score so this will not lead to visa rejection.

@zizy86 do not lodge a visa application using the invite with the expired IELTS result. wait for your wife's new test result and submit a new EOI and wait for another invite.

Hello @engineer20 tanong n din po ako ng opinyon nyo. Waiting for ITA pa lang po, did not claim points for partner's skill. Partner's ielts exam was taken on dec 12, 2015. Assuming lang po na makareceive ng ita at makalodge before say Nov end, considered valid pa po ba ang ielts ni partner?

@Grifter ang english exam ay valid for 3 years kung gagamitin for migration sa AU.
