Education is expensive in Australia, but kinocompensate sya ng possible salary nyo. Like the minimum salary here is around 18AUD per hour. So, if you're a student, and say you work part-time, Say:
16 (Assuming you're paid at the minimum, then less tax)
*20 (allowed working hours per week)* 4.3 (no. of weeks in a month)
= 1,376
* 40 (assuming the conversion rate in PHP)
= P55,000 a month.
That is while you're still a student and can't work full time. If you can work full time, then double the salary, and tayong mag Filipino we always find ways to work more, some even tripling the load.
And if you can find a work which offers a salary higher than the minimum, then why not?
For those in nursing, aged care, etc. I believe they are paid more than the minimum (though I am not generalizing. Kase iba-iba naman ang case). 🙂
