each state in australia has their own skills list of occupation that they are willing to nominate/sponsor. you have to have a skill/occupation thats in their list, meet the state requirements and immigration requirements. they have their own migration website which sets out the entire process of nomination. you have to apply to the state for nomination, they will either approver or reject your application.

its NOT easy to find a job anywhere in australia especially for new migrants so its better na wag muna magstay ung kids dito permanently until makahanap ng work ung parents kc mas mahirap ung feeling at added pressure kapag may kids na involve at least kpg parents pwede magtiis sa basic until makahanp ng work.

ung iba ang ginagwa, ung isa muna sa mag-asawa ung napunta dito then kpg nakahanap ng work saka na susunod ung family.

cost of private health insurance varies depending upon which state you live in. Expect that NSW is much more expensive than others because cost of living there is ridiculously high.

it also depends on the level of cover whether its basic, mid-range or top of the range. there are heaps of health insurance providers. see example below if you live in SA for family health insurance.

@agd Hi! Kung single earner tpos mga 80k/annually siguro kaya, nothing lower than that. Not sure for a family of 5 but for us na family of 4, $307 medical and hospital insurance per month kami. Importante yung insurance and we have made the most out of it naman, the kids most especially. My eldest is studying in a private Catholic school so mga $320/month. Lahat na ba kids mo of school age? If yes multiply mo na lng by 3.

By the way, we are in ADL so based un sa ADL cost of living.

Hello mga kabayan, yup nagtru din ako ng 489 even i lodged po ng 190 via NSW sa EOI. Wala naman po ako nakikitang negative sa 489 and this is a relative pathway to 887 after 2yrs. Gusto ko sa melbourne sana magsettle at nasa melbourne ang eligible relative ko kaya chance ko na rin to. I can work and study din according sa condition ng visa tapos dun pa ako sa desired state makakapagwork.

God's will kung saan mauna ako iinvite dun na ako.

@dutchmilk hi! For the 4 of us na yun per month. Breakdown is $227 for medical/hospital insurance and $80 for the extras. So far mabilis nman mag reimburse para sa mga GP visit/pathology etc. yung sa extras dun kami sa members choice nagpupunta.

@dutchmilk kaka inquire ko pa lng a month ago. $105/day na. Nung dumating kmi $98 something per day. Every year I think nagtataas silva dito, that includes health insurance.

Grabe close call. Naka “Special Condition” na yung occupafion ko (Software Tester 261314) sa SA. September 9 ako nag apply low availability na sya. September 15 ako na-invite. Ngayon di na ako qualified haaay thank You Lord inabutan ko yung pagpapa-ulan nila ng invite! Kaya guys grab the chance na kung available pa occupation nyo.

@lccnsrsnn congrats! buti nagdecide ka na magsubmit ng EOI at na-invite ka agad. Meaning ganun karami ang nag-apply sa occupation mo at sa sobrang hirap na ma-invite ng 189 or 190 sa big states kaya ung mga applicants ineexplore na ang SA or quickest possible way. Imagine, july lang nirefresh ng SA ang pool then after 3 months napuno agad!

kaya guys, kpag may chance i-grab nyo na agad!

Hi guys,

Quick update from Tasmania State migration. The processing time of their SS has increased from 2 weeks up to 8 weeks reason being was they have received huge amount of applications especially from overseas the past weeks/months which at some point they were not expecting and/or were not aligned with their current manpower.

The current timelines does not mean that all applicants will need to wait 8 weeks, it varies depending upon the application and/or occupation.

So dun sa mga nagsubmit ng EOI sa Tassie, be patient lang. They have to follow certain process as part of their validation
