@cm1212 Agree with the previous suggestions. If you indeed completed Financial Accounting and Reporting back in college, prepare a course description to back up the syllabus you have submitted. This course description should have a detailed background of the subjects you took.

By the way, this case seems like you have to file an appeal to the assessor for them to look into your qualifications again.

@jmban33 Hi its absolutely fine of you asking the question. But in India the commerce stream is more dedicated to Accounting related material. I think I have missed one subject of Advance accountancy in my masters which has lead to this problem.

@mrkanncpa Hi, I too agree with the points mentioned but the thing is that it needs a professional person who can appeal to them. Otherwise I feel it would be wastage of funds around $180 or its better to shed $360 for the exam. That way at-least I would be sure of getting a positive assessment.

I was waiting if anyone Indian with same qualifications has got through the same process.

@pikachu13 hi, there is an option for e mail, which I believe more convenient why send through post? I don't have first hand experience with IPA, In my assessing body, CPAA they accept colored scan copy. only black and white documents need to be CTCed.

@pikachu13 Yes there was a limit when they sent me the procedure how to attached the docs. I have my documents scanned here in our office (tipid) and im overseas.

Hello! Would they accept po if you write your own job description and just attach it to the certificate of employment? Hindi kasi nagpoprovide ng job description yung current and previous employers ko sa COE nila.

@joyee yes you can do that, just have it signed by you previous boss or colleague and have it notarized. They call it statutory declaration.

@joyee once you submit the COE with stat declaration, make sure you attached also contact details of your boss or colleague who attested your job description for verification purposes.
