If hindi ako makakuha ng syllabus for 1999 - 2003, do you think CPAA will accept recent syllabus with our school accountancy department letter saying that the content is similar to that of my transcript years? o talagang statutory declaration na ang option ko? will try to reach out to my professors back then pero baka hindi ko mahanap lahat. 🙁

I checked with one of my schoolmates who successfully immigrated in AU back in year 2007 and he was able to submit certified true copies of syllabi sa CPAA noon. kaso wala na raw xang copy ng mga un ngayon.

@joy94 pede mo ipa certify sa lawyer yung certification ng college nyo na yung current syllabus is same noong school year mo. from third party naman sya galing not from you personally. its more reliable. just my opinion though.

Melb na same field ko. I have met few pinoys sa big 4 here

@hailey ay hindi naman pero usually bumababa ung quota every year and AU is getting stricter na din.. currently im in 457 visa.. wala pa sana kami plan ng husband ko magPR kasi before plan namin sa ika-4th year namin dito magapply kaso they changed the citizenship policy in which dapat 4years PR ka na e dati ang need is atleast 1 year PR lang.. ☹️

@hopeful_mea Hi! There are opportunities in the accounting field pero for new migrants it can be a bit challenging coz most companies look for local experience so I would say condition your mind that it may not be easy to find a job. I have witnessed so many situations wherein people had so much expectations prior to moving here and they cant cope with the reality after they've moved.

Tips in finding a job...be patient, dont be fussy and dont give up! another suggestion, if you have a family especially young kids migrating, its much better for you and/your partner to come over here first, find a job, settle everything then bring the entire family.

hello! bago lang po ako rito. ask ko lang if sa counting ng years of experience completely different ang experience ng accountant sa auditor? Or pwede ko iclaim yung years ko as "auditor" sa general accountant category since minsan may malilitt na clients na halos accounting din naman ang ginawa ko? thank you.

@Au_Vic naku ang plano pa nman namin e sabay2 na kami talaga. pero talagang ngayon pa lang kinokondisyon na namin ni hubby mga sarili na talagang mahihirapan kming mghanap. do you think sapat na kaya ang 500k na baon?

@hopeful_mea it depends sa lifestyle nyo at kung how long bago makahanap ng work. Here in oz, common ang temporary/contract or short term jobs and even locals some prefer contract jobs for flexibility. I would suggest na wag mxado picky pagdating sa work dito, I have seen it all especially sa mga new migrants lalo na yung mga may high position sa pinas then pagdating dito they could not accept the fact that they will start from base. Sa pinas kc iba ang image kapag contractual work.

I would say once na may nakakuha na ng work yung isa sa inyo then things will start to ease. Will you be moving here sa Melb?
