I'm a CPA here in PH. Itatanong ko sana what's the best place to start? Nagpa-initial assessment lang ako sa Respall and ACN Southern and both naman are willing to take my case. Pero syempre, dahil may bayad na kada galaw, itatanong ko lang sana, bago ako pumirma ng anything - mag-take ba muna ako ng IELTS? Mag-apply for membership sa CPA Australia? Any advice po would really help. Thank you! 🙂

@elishaw you don't really need to apply for membership with CPA Australia. You'll get invited to become a member free of charge after a successful skills assessment outcome anyway. Good luck!

Hi po! Ask lang po ako ng advice. I estimated the total points na pwede kong makuha and it seems hanggang 70 lang ako.

Age (25-32) - 30

English (claiming for superior 🙂 ) 20

Skilled employment (outside Au) 10

Qualifications 10

Total 70

Ano pa po kaya ang other way to have an additional 5 points?

@sheREAL Hello sis. If may partner ka pwede ka magclaim ng partner points provided nasa occupation list din yung occupation nya saka makapasa sya sa English exam and below 45 years old sya.

Check mo pala yung qualification, nalagay mo kasi 10 points. Pero sakto naman na 70 points yung total mo. 🙂

Hello po! Non-CPA po ko pero with more than 10 years na po ang experience sa Accounting field.More than 6 years po ko accountant ng isang company (buong finance at accounting po yong load ko.SME lang kasi company).May chance po kaya makakuha ng positive feedback sa pag papa-assess sa CPAA?

@goyenawheng meron mga non CPA na nag pa assess positive result naman. as a matter of fact hindi requirement na CPA ka para maka kuha ng positive assessment. Criteria are below

To receive a positive result for your chosen Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) code, you will need:

•a qualification that is assessed by CPA Australia as equivalent to at least an Australian Bachelor degree

•to have successfully studied all mandatory competency areas that are relevant to your chosen ANZSCO code

•to have met the English proficiency requirement

Saang Jobsite po ng AU pwede mag apply yong tulad ko na offshore...baka sakali makakuha ng Job Offer 🙂 additional points din po kasi.

@batman Hi! Question lang. Mas okay ba to take yung CPAA assessment before even giving any of your documents with a migration agent for assessment? 🙂

And, about PTE and IELTS - may difference ba yun? Do we have to take both or either lang sa kanila?

Hi guys. For CPAA skilled employment assessment, pahingi naman ng tips pano gawin kong diskarte para makakuha nung detailed job description from current employer. Kasi ang hirap eh, baka ma delikado naman yung current work ko pag tinanong nila para san ko gagamitin..
