Qualifications Points

A Doctorate degree from an Australian educational institution or a Doctorate from another educational institution that is of a recognised standard. 20
A Bachelor degree from an Australian educational institution or a Bachelor qualification, from another educational institution that is of a recognised standard. 15
A diploma or trade qualification completed in Australia 10
An award or qualification recognised by the relevant assessing authority for your nominated skilled occupation.

Kapag accredited yung detailed syllabus na sinubmit mo, pasok ka sa #2? tapos kapag cpa ka ba makukuha mo din yung #4 or hindi na? Thank youuuuu sa mga makakatulong. 🙂

@mafimushkila 10, or 15, or 20 lang talga ang points mo related sa qualifications. hindi pede madoble ang points mo makuha sa tatlo na yun.

tpos yung no. 4 may mga courses kasi na need mo pumasa muna sa exam para considered completed yung degree, yung mga may board exams. per my understanding.

@batman ay salamat po sa pag sagot. so yung number 2 ba makukuha kapag okay ka sa assessment like sa cpaa? halimbawang inevaluate na nila syllabus mo at okay naman..

@mafimushkila123 be mindful that the assessing authority does not decide on the equivalence of your qualification. All assessing authorities refer to the Department of Education and Training's Country Education Profile (CEP) when assessing overseas qualifications. This is the first thing we look at during the initial assessment we do for our clients as this gives us an insight on how their qualification will match up against the Australian standards. If we see that their qualifications do not even equate to the required AQF level, we inform them. Hence saving them from incurring costs. Hope that's helpful.

Hi Accountants! 🙂 I'm starting the process na for PR visa under Accountant General occupation. I just want to ask about the assessment. Required AQF under this occupation should be equivalent to Australian Bachelor's Deg or Associate degree right? so meaning either sa dalawa makuha result can proceed na to lodge an EOI? tama po ba understanding ko? thanks! 🙂

@angelt to be positively assessed, your qualification must be equivalent to an AQF bachelor degree. Anything lower, you'll get a negative outcome. You're only in the assessment stage so points do not matter at this stage. Focus on meeting the requirements instead.

So if you got a negative outcome you cannot proceed anymore? Or you can still proceed with just lower points in EOI?

Hi guys.. just would like to ask. Is the course program and syllabus is strictly assessed by VEtAssess for Internal Audit? I dont have course syllabus anymore coz natapon ko na. What I have is just the major course descriptions i got from my school website. Would this suffice to get a positive assessment?

I didn't submit a course syllabus for VETASSESS assessment. I was only required to submit a course syllabus when i was assessed by CPAA since I change from IA to External Auditor. 😃

@angelt to be eligible to apply for a visa, you need to meet 2 prerequisites- minimum 60 points and a positive skills assessment

@angelt your nominated occupation is accountant. Requirement para magkaroon ng positive assessment is AQF bachelor degree equivalent ka. Don't mixed your understanding between claiming points and complying with the requirement of the assessing body.

Points system is different topic. U want to know ano yung associate degree na may 10 points, well, that's for other occupation where in ang requirement sa kanila khit assoc degree lang is pede na ma meet ang requirement ng assessing body nila at magkaroon ng positive assessment kasi yun lang ang required sa kanila.

For you on the other hand bachelor degree.
