First of all, I was very anxious of my work experience I'd thought I will not pass sa skills assessment. Although I'm a CPA, but I'm not from any top university in the Philippines. My syllabus was a DIY. My university is not reliable to this kind of request, I googled (and I think I found one from UST) and searched for a sample course description of each subject na related to business and accounting from my TOR. I requested and personally sent a message to our dean to stamp and sign the syllabus and I said it was very urgent. Thankfully, they helped me even the Uni admin, they printed it from the University letterhead, sealed and signed.
Then, sa work experience, I had a few years job as an inventory analyst in a BPO. Yung JD (and my actual job) seems very far from the work of an Accountant. Dito talaga ko nagworry. I did my best to write it as close as the job of an accountant. Btw, also all my JD were also DIY. If I let the previous HR or manager do it for me, it will take me forever. I have to message all my previous colleague/manager to help me with this. I just asked them to sign and stamp this for me. I figured it is much easier job for them to just sign it as long as it reflects my actual job description.
PTE took me 3 takes to get superior. NAATI is also not that as easy as I expect. So now I'm patiently waiting for an invite as an offshore with 95 points. Ayun lang, please pray for me guys and wish me luck.. ;D I hope this helps.

Hello po, question po dun sa ginawa niyo sa JD, gumawa po ba kayo ng stat dec para dito or di na need kasi may stamp naman yung ginawa niyong DIY na JD?

@jinigirl No i didn't kasi printed sya sa university letter head already and stamp and signed by uni admin.

Hello! I am a CPA here in PH, with 2 years audit experience in SGV and 6 years experience in private. Gusto ko sana bumalik sa audit, though I have doubts na baka hindi ako matanggap sa audit firms sa AU knowing that I have only 2 yrs exp. and I am offshore. Are there any chances na may makapagsponsor sakin na audit firm given my experience? Please give me an insight.

I also have this option na maging dependent na lang ng BF ko coz he's applying 482 as pharmacist naman.

My friend who has an experience as as an auditor sa COA nkakuha ng 491 visa recently sa Canberra at 90 pts ata. I hve another friend working sa EY Sydney, usually dw internal yung pagapply. He was a manager s SGV. When he first arrived here nging senior auditor on a 482 visa then he was sponsored for a PR 186 visa after two years.. if u want sponsorship from audit firms here, i thnk internal applcation from branch nla s Pinas. F u want n mkapunta dito and dito nlng mghnap, try ka cguro mag 491 offshore applicant s canberra ngyon

Graduated Master's in Australia and currently 100 points for 189 and 105 for 190.. my skills assessment will expire this July 2022. My English exam will expire also this August 2022. Meron pa po bang pag-asa mainvite ang accountants? I think last nlang invite was 2020 pa.. based ako in Sydney.. at least nlng din nka 482 visa po ako ngyon kaso ayaw ko n sna mgpasponsor ulit.. sana maginvite n cla ng accountants nman sa 189 at 190 😭

Why not go for 491? I have a friend na naka bridging visa na ngayon from 482 to 489

Why not go for 491? I have a friend na naka bridging visa na ngayon from 482 to 489

CPAA skills assessment - valid for three years

PTE - valid for two years

ang problem lng po sa Canberra, may matrix sila pra sa points..mahirap makakuha ng 90 points 🙁 unlike sa ibng states na iaask lng if ilan ung points n nakuha based sa EOI

For Canberra, +15 points if under 491 then +5 pag 190. But we need JO for 190 kaya I applied 491 instead
