Hi guys! 2011 pa pala ung most recent posts s forum na to.Hope someone can help me, i am a cpa with 3yrs work experience. what are the steps that i need to undergo? kailangan ko ba na agency for my visa application? How much will it cost? or pwede naman ako na lang mag apply sa australian embassy? i have no relatives or friends sa australia. I'm taking all the risks for this application. thank you. someone help me please

Check mo yung mga pinned post like step by step applications, application guidelines nandun lahat sagot sa katanungan mo. Need mo muna ielts and assessment sa cpa australia/icaa/ipa before you can proceed to eoi sa australian embassy. Check and basa mo muna then you can ask specific questions later. Cost roughly 3060 aud visa fees (only you) + notarials, ielts + medical fees + nbi. You dont need agency and you can actually do it on your own. Goodluck

ahaha! thanks vhoythoy!... dpat pala sa 28th ako nagbasa to find the most recent posts. hehe. thank you!!! sa dami ng nababasa ko, confusing na... ung iba kc nasa kalagitnaan na ng steps. nasa step 1 pa lang ako. Nag inquire po kc ako for accounting jobs in australia sa isang manpower agency. Ang inexplain sakin is for permanent residence na (it was my first time to inquire, haist)... There was this 60point system, ielts exam (which i need to score 7), qualification assessment, mara agent, fees of about 382thou plus (is the price reasonable po ba? kasama na ung fee for mara agent sa 382). Basic info lang alam ko. How will i know if the agency is trustworthy, aside from POEA licensed sila? If i do it on my own, what is the assurance na may job na ako pagdating ko dun (optimistic about it, see you soo australia, mejo hilong talilong lang ngaun,nangangapa kumbaga :-*

Wala kang assurance na may job dito immediately upon arrival... It can get tough to secure a job here sa australia lalo na wala tayong local experience.

Most of us here landed in Australia na walang jobs; so ayun, hanap hanap... Kami ni misis, we got ours on our 2nd month here.

Visa processing is different for looking for a job. Establish yourself first as permanent resident then job will follow. Dont need mara agent, you can make it. Ielts definitely all 7 academic. If you do it on your own you can roughly spend 150k (more or less, below 200k at most) only. Laki ng matitipid mo. Your cpa and can pick up well. Basa2 lang dito sa forums and you can follow the prcedures easy. Im also cpa and already halfway. Wla din ako idea sa visa processing before, dito lang sa forum lahat. Madali lang din pala. Tambay2 lang dito pa may time haha. Goodluck

ERP Functional Consultant - 6 months to date (MS Dynamics Navision)

Business Consultant - 8 months

General Accountant - 5 years

May mga question lang po ako:

Mas madali ba sakin kung mag apply ako as Accountant? Yun kasi ang nakalagay sa SOL. Subclass 175 VISA.
Or kung mag apply naman ako as ERP Functional Consultant, anong VISA subclass po ang applyan ko?
Gusto ko po sana is mag apply ng work habang andito sa Pilipinas at the same time will prepare my documents like VISA, IELTS, etc. Mas OK po kaya yung ganon? Hinde din naman ganon kahaba ang pisi ko, wala po akong malaking budget. At most na siguro is 250taw.

Process your visa before you apply overseas. 250k is more than enough lalo na kung magisa ka lang at walng agent.

I have a colleague who sent assessment for Accountant sa CPAA. Mostly sa agent nya kasi pinapapaasikaso lahat and paminsan minsan lng kmi magkausap. Nareceived nya assessment nya from CpAA ok nman daw except sa yng education nya daw is not inline sa Accountant dahil sa "theory of accounts" n subject. Nagstudy sya sa San Beda and cpa din. Mandatory daw un is option yata na nilagay eh mag take sya ng accouting theory s cpaa. Any one na may advice for him?

It is accounting theory not theory of accounts... Because of this, hindi sya makakuha ng positive skills assessment. Common waterloo for accountants all over the world who wanted to get migration assessment from CPA Australia.

Ano sabi ng migration agent nya? He can take the exam for accounting theory, that is one option BUT ang maging complication nito is that CPAA will not accept his previous work experience as these were obtained prior to finishing the required accounting theory subject.
