i want to ask po if positive po ang nakuha mong skill assessment sa educational qualification as Accountant, ang possible point mo ba ay 15 or 10 (bachelor degree only and CPA)?

just ensure that you comply with the requirement for CTC; think it was dapat may pangalan ng nag-CTC, may address and may contact details.

your assessing body should include in their assessment their views if your education is comparable to bachelors or not (if bachelors, you can get 15pts)

In theory, they process the visa of 190 much faster...

However, getting a state sponsorship takes longer kasi (and even more costly) - so assuming you have 65pts or more, mas mabilis ang 189 as you would definitely be invited in the next round.

If I ask you @renee, why do you make SS an option? If aabot ng 60pts, go for 189 - walang restriction ka dito in terms of where to stay.

ang sa akin naman, I had my profession assessed first by CPA Australia...after ng assessment, I took the IELTS exam next...general ang kinuha ko..it won't matter kung IDP or British Council...and may cut-off kse akong 7.0 in EACH category (take note, EACH at HINDI TOTAL BAND SCORE) kse po i opt for the VISA 190 which is the State Sponsorship...I went for New South Wales Sponsorship and may cut off sila for accountants na 7.0 in ALL categories that is why I took the IELTS mga 4 times ata and appealed for the last time (kse objective sila and inconsistent sa writing and speaking)...kapag may nag-sponsor kseng state sayo, may additional kang 5 points...although sa VISA 189 ata is REGIONAL sponsored and that is 10 points additional...eh ang need ko lang naman to get a 60 passing point is 5 nalang kaya State Sponsorship ako...then yun...after IELTS, nag-apply ng State Sponsorship...then lodged EOI...then the rest is...eto na... 😃

Check mo sa state on what is their requirement, I think it varies...

HOWEVER, for accountants (in their skills assessment), ang kailangan dito is Academic; having said this, since mahal ang IELTS usually isa lang ang ginagamit na results for state sponsorship purpose and/or skills assessments.

If you ask a computer related skill migrant who opted for state sponsorship, ang sasabihin cguro nila na general IELTS ang kinuha nila.

tama si @TasBurrfoot ... mas mabilis ang pag-grant ng visa 190, State sponsored, although you need to go through the process of being sponsored by a certain state, which, by the way will cost you in some state (like NSW) and medyo matagal considering you have to wait for their assessment...plus may mga requirements ka ding isu-submit sa state na yun (see nalang ang state requirement)...

you only opt for this kung bitin ang score mo...kung mga 55points ka lang and need mo ng additional 5 points para makaabot ng 60 minimum points... State Sponsored visa will require you to stay in that state for 2 years. As for visa 189, kahit saang lugar sa australia pwede ka.

Natapos ko rin mabasa from page 1 to 31 hehehe. Nalimutan ko na ata yung ibang info like sa Accounting Theory na nagkakaproblema sa CPAA assessment.

Tanong ko po:

San ba nakasakop Accounting Theory sa syllabus. Magkakaiba ba tayo since iba iba ang school natin.
Sa school namin may accounting 15 (refresher course in accounting) bago mag graduate, pwede rin kaya ito masabi na Accounting Theory.

hello po I just got po my IELTS result for the first time, I got 7 in all except for writing which is 6.5 (huhuhu hehe anyhow good for the start), may chance ba siya na maaplayan na visa or kailangan pa rin 7 lahat po? thanks for advise

If you will apply as an accountant, di pwede... Dapat 7 in all subjects/bands.

Apply again and do more practice sa writing.

@batman nag self review lang po, mahina lang po talaga ako sa writing but i tried my best hehe nabitin lang sa 6.5, any advice po sa writing to get 7
