<blockquote rel="vhoythoy"><blockquote rel="TasBurrfoot"><blockquote rel="Jeebs">@TasBurrfoot hi there sir. May I ask magshift ka ng career?</blockquote>
Di naman but in my field kasi (financial services), may accounting overlap parati... So might as well take a look at this possibility.
Yes @vhoythoy, CFA is actually one of the things na tinitingnan ko apart from CPA... ๐</blockquote>
Yep medyo related sya though specialised talaga financial services. And pag medyo tumaas rank mo jan eh malaki ang salary ng mga nsa financial services. I have one client before dito sa sg, isang asset management services company and nalula ako sa sweldo ng portfolio manager 40k sgd a month, nagkamali yta ako ng profession hahaha.
Anyways, regarding CFA balak ko sya kuhanin last year but pinagiisipan ko pa mabuti until now since di ko forte finance tlaga. Based sa research ko mas mahirap pa sya kesa sa cpa exams and matagal matapos and magastos, plus the specific exp requirements para magamit designation.

Ahahahaha....
@vhoythoy, CFA is cheaper ng CPA Australia as 3 levels lang naman... However, super hirap talaga ito based on feedback sa friends.
And yes, experience wise lang may geared towards accounting yung past work experience ko... Both CFA and CPA needs work experience before you can be admitted for full membership.
Time to chart this, pros and cons... I need to decide soon! ๐
