@skinnylove I included the PRC Certificate but not the exam results. Hopefully, huwag na sanang hingin as we haven't renewed our PRC License since we left Manila. The thing is, for PRC to give you a copy of your grades, you need to be in good standing.

they did not ask for the prc license which was good coz it had expired. i never bothered renewing the prc membership in the years i worked in the phils. just send them a copy of the board exam results.

@skinnylove i don't have a copy anymore of my board exam grades, i gave the original to SGV when they asked me few years ago. 🙁

Oh i guess u will have to request a new copy from prc. check their website if it could be done online. didnt know audit firms now are asking for board exam results.

we can always request a copy of our board exam results with PRC for a fee per copy...in my case, I need to wait at least 3 weeks to get my copy here in Iloilo 😃

my wife did not submit her mark sheet from the PRC...

quick tip lang, it would be better if you concentrate on your syllabus.

Thank you, so far we haven't received any questions on the syllabus we provided. I'm praying for a positive assessment (sana po Lord!)

Saan po makikita ung descriptions/requirements ng jobs listed on SOL for finance/accounting jobs? Accounting graduate kasi si husband, non board passer and work experience is mainly on billing. Grateful for your advice.

get the ANSZCO code (from the SOL/CSOL) of that specific occupation..

and then google it..

take note maraming occupation codes ang related sa finance/accounting..

so make sure na makita mo lahat yun...

Per inquiry snail mail by post ang method of delivery nila. Usually gano katagal bago ma-receive dito sa Pinas?

Sir @TasBurrFoot napansin ko yung sa wife nyo may result na from CPAA in just a month. Gano katagal nyo inantay nung outcome? By regular post din pa sila magpadala ng assessment?

I also sent an inquiry sa Customer Service ng ICAA and sabi nila di sila nagpapadala ng result electronically kaya kelangan talaga to wait for the letter itself. For info na rin sa ibang naka experience or nagpapa assess tru ICAA.</blockquote>

I received the assessment letter from ICAA today, 10 days after the completion date posted in their website. Talagang by regular post ang delivery nila and no alternative electronic means.

Result: Suitable for your nominated skilled occupation (221111)- 11/12 Core Knowledge Areas

Sorry noob question para sigurado lang. Sa pagkuha ng course syllabus, ang kukunin mo ba yung syllabus ng year kung kailan ka ng nagaral till graduated (yung nasa transcript) mo or current syllabus ng course mo? Hehe

dapat yung sa year na nag-aral ka...

however this will not matter too much I guess IF parehas lang ang course description sa syllabus and sa transcript mo.

hi @ricshei, madame ako kakilala na nde cpa pero na-approve. ang tinitingnan naman sa assessment e ung education at nde ung licence. don't know though if that has a bearing kasi wala namn use ang cpa licence natin dto sa australia.

ung isa kong kakilala, nag-aral ng Master of professional accounting dto Australia, nakapasa ng assessment with cpaa. banking and finance ang course nya sa Pinas. pr na sya nung June. ung processing time nya from lodgement to visa grant e 15days lang.

I think depende sa assessing body. In my case, yung assessment ko from CPA Australia is more on education. Kasi yung letter nila never mention about my CPA license. The letter only mentioned my accountancy degree.

Pero sa ibang assessing body, may bearing ang Philippine CPA license. Like sa case ko, nagpa-assess din ako sa Vet Assess, dun sa assessment letter, nilagay nila yung Phil CPA License ko as one factor why they gave me positive assessment.

@rollyn04, hi, I think kaya may bearing sa Vet Assess e dahil they are assessing internal audit occupation which need not be accounting graduate. what ba nominated occupation mo?

I think depende din talaga sa assesor na matapat. Strictly di nman mandatory talag cpa as long as your education and course syllabus is within their requirements and you have the relevant experiences. Cpa is ofcourse always a plus for the assesor decision on assessment.

If you think about it, vetassess should not put more weight on cpa as internal does not necessarily an accoutant/cpa's. If theres any cert that they will consider it should be the cia. Good thing that they consider cpa din tlaga.
