Same din kaya ang magiging outcome kung ang situation ko eh sabi sa Migration assessment ko kailangan ko daw mag take ng Accounting Theory pero nung mag eenroll sana ako sabi need ko ng Membership assessment kaya nag pa assess ako tapos ang result exempted ako sa lahat ng subjects. Nalilito ako ngayon kung paano na ako mag proceed. Please share kung may kaparehas ako dto.

@jeriellejade hi. just inquired this one with the CPAA migration officer, my case am already an ASA. they said that membership requirements is different from migration. i guess what they mean is, they are stricter with the migration process.

@jeriellejade may i ask, what year did you graduate? ang acctg practice ko kc and acctg theory pinag-isa. Financial Accounting Theory and Practice. some of accounting graduates here applied for a migration assessment thru cpaa got the same outcome. they submitted the syllabus from their school and appealed for re-assessment. Fortunately, they got positive results. 🙂

Hello all! I got a positive cpaa skill assessment!!! Thanks for your help esp to @vhoythoy and @buzzy 🙂 Is it correct that I can now proceed with the eoi? Or should I wait for a positive skilled employment assessment first? CPAA is still asking for a statutory declaration with list of work duties..

@gms hi, ganu katagal bago mo nareceive sa cpaa ung result? nakareceive ka na ba ng letter na "suitable" ung nominated occupation mo? thanks!

@bernaabad yes nakalagay na i am "academically suitable for migration under general accountant". Nakuha ko sya after 3 to 4 weeks

@gms I think in order to claim points for visa 189, you would need the skilled epmloyment assessment from CPAA.

Hi, new member here. I am just starting to collate my docs. May I ask for those who submitted their PRC ID, do I need to change name pa since yung maiden name ko pa nakalagay sa ID ko? Sobrang tagal lang kasi ng process, if mag-change name pa ako. Or can i just renew my card as it is? Thanks.

@jillpot i think di na kailangan papalitan kasi sa birth certificate, diploma, etc andun naman maiden name mo 🙂

I just submitted my EOI yesterday with 65 points. However, I think there will be no more slots for Accountants after the May 8 invite. 🙁

Hope our nominated occupation will be included in the next programme year!
