@danyan2001us yes i believe so.. But you can still find other means to claim points like acing the PTE exams for 20 pts.. That's what I did. 🙂 You just need to get a minimum of 79 points for each band.. You may want to visit the PTE thread for more details .. Haha

can you help me or anybody else to look kung related ba ang accounts receivable sa accountant na skilled occupation? kasi when she started her work (accounts receivable officer) last Dec 2014, her company was willing to sponsor her on a 457 visa kaya lang medyo may problema kasi she needs to have at least one or two people under her position then sa set up nila ngayon sa company nila, siya yong pinaka junior so sabi ng agent namin na medyo mahirap sa 457. Hence, I am eager to research more on this one kasi nga we will be lodging sometime next year our EOI and hopefully mas malaki than 60 points ang makukuha niya. She can't get points from me kasi HR manager ako sa atin and it is not related to accounting.

For PTE Acads.. Just download the Mcmillan reviewer on the thread. I just used that in reviewing and had able to ace the exams. If you have some extra money, you can purchase the paid mock-exams to have a taste of the actual exams (i did not buy kasi kuripot ako.. Hahah).</blockquote>we already did the paid mock exams and she needs to improve sa reading nya hehe anyway she has plenty of time to catch up.....thanks anyway

Sabi po ng ICA, "accounts receivable/payable roles are not considered relevant accounting roles."

thanks for the info...anyway makaka abot naman siya ng 60 points even without this work experience....pero mas maganda pag mas malaki ang points mas advantage sa point test....anyway thanks again

Hello po. I'm a fresh graduate and I will be taking the CPA Board exam on October 2015. Assuming that I pass po, is there any way for me to migrate into Australia as a skilled migrant. My mom and little sis are permanent residents of Australia po. Do I need to have relevant work experience here first? Thank you.

Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently received an unsuitable skills assessment from ICAA (for external auditor) because as per the assessment, I did not complete one of the 9 mandatory subjects which is Finance. I'm from San Beda and our equivalent subject for this was "Money, Credit, Banking and Finance". ? I lodged an appeal, and a bit nervous on their response. Has anyone experienced the same? I'd appreciate your advise. Thanks!

@cpa_oct2011 , I applied on June 22, got the result last July 15. So around 3 weeks. Now, I'm waiting for their response to my appeal. Scary as hell =) Naglodge ka na ba?

@mgfg yup. Kka submit ko lang ng eoi.. Same tyo ng nominated skills.. 221213. Kay CPAA ako at 8 working days lang sya..

@cpa_oct2011 Congrats! Ang bilis lang. Sa CPAA ba 9 din ang mandatory subjects? May friend ako 4 subjects lang sa CPAA din. Visa grant na sya. I'm not sure baka old rules pa nung time nya.

@mgfg Hindi pa kami nag papa assess sa CPAA, on going review pa sa PTE.

Nag email kami sa kanila kng pwede gamitin yung pina assess namin para sa CPA program sabi hindi daw pwede kasi mag kaiba daw ng assessment criteria. Kaya advise ng CPAA na mag paassess uli para sa migration.
