Did you take the cpaa foundation on business law on top of sending your school syllabus from Phil?

Nagpa assess kasi ako year 2011 for membership. I don't have plans of migrating that time. And i didnt try to make an appeal. So i took the Business Law exam and unfortunately I failed. Until nung last year I decided to migrate na. Kung try ko kaya mag appeal at humingi ako sa school ko ng additional documents. I-coconsider kaya nila?

@nedz I am actually still waiting for my assessment result myself. Sana nga makalusot. Ang ginawa ko lang so far is i map out ang mga topics na nasa website nila with the topics in my syllabus.

I have read somewhere on this forum na ang iba they appeal by submitting the syllabus again and highlighting the subjects that relate to the topics na meron sila sa kanilang website. maybe worth a try...

@palducente kelan ka nagsubmit? Yung sakin matagal. Umabot ng 15 days. Parang pinagbasehan nila yung membership assessment ko last 2011. Actually, yung Business Law nila pareho lang din sa Pinas. Ewan ko bakit di nila iconsider yung syllabus ko. Di kaya dahil one page lang yung syllabus na inissue sakin ng school ko? Hehehe Hay grabe na tong pinagdadaanan ko para lang makarating ng Australia. Butas na bulsa ko kakabayad sa exam. Anyways, try ko mag appeal. Kung rejected pa rin try ko magpa assess sa ICAA or IPA. Laban para sa ekonomiya lol

@nedz kaka re-send ko lang ng documents ko last Monday. Binalik kasi sa akin kasi ang certified true copy na stamp at pirma ay nilagay ng atty. sa likod ng document.

1 page lang ang syllabus mo? sa akin parang umabot ng 120 pages for all the major subjects in acctg kasama na ang finance, economics at business mathematics. hehehe

@palducente One page lang yung para sa Business Law. Siguro mga nasa less than 50pages lang lahat lahat. Feeling ko baka dahil dun kaya di nila inacknowledge business law ko.

Hi Guys! Newbie here. 🙂 I am yet to take IELTS pero prinepare ko na rin in advanced ung mga ilang docs for CPAA accreditation. Ask ko lang, paano kayo nag-map ng subjects? Like for example, the subject is quantitative methods, di ba ung mga topics na andun is natackle sya from different subjects sa school, like statistics, project management, management advisory services etc. So, iba ibang topics from different subjects ang nakaplot/map sa Quantitative methods? Ganun ba un? Sorry guys, medyo magulo ung query ko, 🙂 pasensya na. Your replies are highly appreciated! Thank you!!!

How many days ang gap ng dalawa? natanggap ko na kasi ang qualifications assessment ko today and happy to say it is positive pero still waiting for the skilled employment.

@palducente Congrats Bro sa positive assessment! Sa amin umabot pa ng almost 4 mos. pero I think mas mabilis na ang process ngayon ni CPAA compared before. Kaya baka sumunod na din agad ung results mo nagfollow-up ka na ba sa kanila bro?

Hi All! Newbie here. Anyone who's kind enough to brief me on what should be the step by step procedure for Accountant. I noticed that there are some discussion about CPAA etc.. Hence, I thought maybe there are additional steps that needs to be done in our profession.

Just started working in Dubai, if it's possible how much money should I have if I'm decided migrating to Australia. Do they credit our license? Sorry dami ko pong tanong.

Halou... nabasa ko lang sa http://www.border.gov.au na 70 points na ang point score for Accountants? Hindi ko talaga siya maintindihan masyado. ibig bang sabihin nito eh wala na kaming chance na 60/65 points ma invite? salamat ng marami.
