Yup, I am. Thanks po! Yung sis mo ba in Au na? Ganito po yung rough process ha. Mahaba actually, pero in summary:
I took part 1 exam of Australian Medical Council.
Then took IELTS.
Then applied for a job
Once accepted, apply to Medical Board for license.
After approval, visa application.
The critical part is the medical board licensing. Wala ako kilala na pinoy MD going to Oz na ibang pathway kundi via 457 which is employer-sponsored eh (or working visa). Unfortunately, hindi kami pwede skilled migrant, hahaha! I just remembered, may PinoyMD forum din which she can join (tips naman dun for exams, licensure, pathways, etc. lahat ng info about med down-under). She can message me dun, I'll give her a copy of my exam questions. Andun kasi yung recalls ko sa forum na yun. 😃</blockquote>
Wala pa po sa Oz bali start pa lang po siya siguro ng processing ng docs. Yung sister na kasama ko papunta nurse po and hopefully, yung dr. makasunod din. Kelangan po ba may specialization? She's IM and right now she's serving residency pa lang (not sure of the terms). hehe.. Thank you very much po! 🙂
