@MLBS kung 489 relative sponsored dapat nasa csol kasi the occupations listed in csol need sponsorship. SOL is independent wala na sponsor kailangan subclass 189 visa and u will have the freedom to choose san mo gusto tumira sa australia.

@Strader correct ko lang. kapag 489 relative sponsored, dapat nasa SOL yung nominated occupation and pasok sa 60 points. Kung 489 "state" sponsored, yun ang dapat nasa SOL ng particular state ang nominated occupation for example, WASMOL of western australia, and pasok din dapat sa 60 points.

@chelle yes I stand corrected ^^ @MLBS tama sya dapat yong occupation mo nasa SOL kung 489 relative sponsored at 189 independent visa. CSOL will only apply for 190/489 state/territory sponsorship na makikita sa State Nominated Occupation List o SNOL ng bawal state/territory. ^^

@MLBS yes pwde.. kapag nacomplete mo na requirements submit ka na agad EOI kasi medyo matagal mainvite sa 489.

Hi Chelle! So happy nabasa ko yung timeline mo. Ask ko lang gano ka katagal bago ma invite sa Visa 489 Relative Sponsored? Nasa SOL pa ang occupation ko and my cousin is willing to sponsor me. Luckily, he's living in designated area in Victoria and a permanent resident. Pinagiisipan ko kung visa 189 (nasa estimated 65-70points lang ako) pero kapag 489(Relative sponsored ( estimated 75-80pts). Thanks!

@AkawntantAnne hi. 5 months bago ako nainvite sa 489 since 65 points lang ako and nung nagsubmit ako EOI, 5 lang slots na allotted for 489 every invitation round. Kung 65-70 points ka naman sa 189, suggestion ko mag 189 ka na lng. Mabilis lang naman mainvite sa 189 kahit 60 points ka pa unless ung profession mo e nsa pro-rata occupations.

@AkawntantAnne napansin ko accountant ka pala so mukhang mahaba nga pila para mainvite. Pwede mo naman piliin sabay yung 189 and 489 sa eoi, wait mo na lng siguro saan ka unang mainvite. God bless.

We are planning to apply for Subclass 489 relative sponsored for ACT. However, my husband's nominated occupation Architectural Technician 312199 is a 'nec' not classified elsewhere occupation. Ano po ibig sabihin nun? Ano ang bearing nun sa aming application?

Hi everyone,

I'm a holder of visa 489, but unfortunately due to some family/work issues, I haven't been able to go to Australia yet. I am planning to migrate this coming May 2017, however, based on the remaining time of the 489 visa, I will not be able to meet the visa 887 requirement of (lived 24 months and worked 12 months in designated area). Appreciate your advice as to what action I can take for this kind of case. Thank you
