pede po ba kahit hindi maka-IE ung dependent? nasa pinas kasi ung baby ko kaya medyo hassle lang kung need talaga ng mag-IE bago maexpire ang IE visa niya. magkakaroon kaya ng prob in the future? tia

Hello All, mag iinquire po sana ako baka may alam kayo na ganitong case:

For subsequent entrant visa (children ages 16-19 y/o)- mandatory po ba na magstudy sila sa au? Ang fees po ba is sa bracket ng international student or local student for both high school at college?
What if may subsequent entrant ka na 21 y/o and then pag mag aapply na ng 887 visa ang parents after 2 years ay lampas 23 y/o na, pano na po yung visa ng anak nya?

You must relocate to the Southern Inland Region within 90 days of your Visa being granted by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

2) Is this a strict compliance and would there be consequences if you have not relocate within 90days?

3) Meron na po bang hndi sumunod sa rule na to? Hehe. Personally parang maikli po kasi yung 90days kelangan andun na. Balak ko po sana (if papalarin), mag ttrabaho pa din sana ako sa current job for a few months para pandagdag sa budget..

hello po ask k lng po for SA nomination.. mgssubmit po kasi ako na pero nde k po nakita san iaattach ung TOR at Degree Cert.. need po ba iupload at kng san part dun sa online application? kasi andun lng skill assessment, PTE, Coe work exp.. wala po dun ung sa qualification.. salamat po 🙂

Ang 489 visa holder ba pwedeng mag sponsor ng tourist visa ng relative? Yung long term tourist visa na multiple entries good for 3 years tapos 3 months maximum stay subclass 600. Nabasa ko kasi na PR tsaka citizen ang pwede. Pano kaya yung 489?

@lccnsrsnn Why don't you try tourist visa 600? Di mo na kelangan mag sponsor but you can include yourself as immediate contact person sa Australia. That's what we did when we're still on 489. Hope this helps. Cheers

@ajet02 My husband and I are moving to Adelaide on a 489 visa. I’m asking kasi we want to sponsor my mother in law para makapunta sya doon on an extended visit pero she’s retired and walang source of income kung hindi yung support namin sa kanya. So she would need a sponsor para makarating sa Oz otherwise baka madeny kasi nga wala naman syang mga ITR/Payslip or even investments.

@lccnsrsnn how old is your mother-in-law? Its ok to support her financially hindi mo kelangan ng source of income nya as long as may valid reason sya for an extended stay. I got my father here with only 50k pesos (kami na lang naghulog nun pambili nya ng plane ticket) on his bank account for his show money and nothing else wala rin sya source of income. Bakit pala sya extended stay? Does she has grandkids to look after? Kasi kung wala pa kayo anak better apply her a shorter stay visa otherwise mahihirapan kayo magjustify sa CO nyo.

@lccnsrsnn for tourist purposes, get the normal tourist visa. immigration is generous in giving visas to parents. when i asked my mum to come over here, i only gave her invitation letter which she included in her visa application telling immigration that i will pay for all of her expenses whilst in australia and included 1 payslip to show that I am employed. She did not include any proof of income. she got 1 yr multiple entry visa, max stay of 3months. that's her first visa actually.

That visa has already expired and I'm going to get her another visa which is a 3 yr multiple entry

Hello! Started reading lang about 489 since im opening my other options para makapag AU. I passed na kasi my 189/70pts and 190/75pts pero wala pa din invite til now. 🙁 and madami ako nababasa here in the forum na nagaapply din 489. Please let me know if tama po pagkakaintindi ko regarding this visa.

it is sponsored (state/relative). I have a sister who is a citizen and is now living in Sydney. So if i apply for this type of visa, relative sponsored po ang ittake ko.
temporary visa, good for 4 years. but after living for 2 years with 1 year full time work, you may apply for a 887 visa para permanent resident ka na. then after some time dun kana makakapagapply for citizenship.
i can still bring my family (wife and daughter). same with 189/190.
i can work, my wife can work and my daughter can study with this visa. provided we stay in the specific state lang

@kaloidq what is your nominated occupation? For 489 relative sponsored kasi mas lalo kadalang ang invites kasi uunahin muna lahat ng 189 iinvite then after that tsaka palang iaallocate sa 489 applicants yung remaining slots. Meaning if madami applicants sa 189 possible na konti nalang matitira for 489. Much better if you apply 489 state sponsored because as long as you meet the conditions set by the state you will receive an invite from them. You may check your occupation here kung saan state possible for 489 visa.

Also to add, 489 visa holders dont get medicare benefits yet. Some states also charge 489 holders for tuition fees, but there are states that extend free tuition for 489 holders, you just need to pay minimal school fees (ex. SA where I applied).

Btw for visa 489 you get to have +10 points for state sponsorship (whereas 190 gets +5 points only)

@kaloidq also if your sister is in sydney, sadly she cannot sponsor you since relatives should be living in regional areas specified by DHA and sydney is not a regional area. Sister ko sydney din but she cant sponsor me as well kaya we also opt for 489 SA.

@kaloidq 489 has two streams, relative sponsored and state sponsored. If relative sponsored, the sponsor must live in a "designated" area identified by immigration. If you sister lives in Sydney metro then its NOT a designated area therefore she CANT sponsor you for 489.

state sponsorship is your option depending upon your occupation. you may check each state. At this stage, South Australia is the quickest state to process sponsorhsip and they have a lot occupations in their list for sponsorship.

489 is a provisional visa. It is like 189/190 minus the benefits and permanent residency. You can include your partner, kids in the visa application. Once granted, you can stay in the sponsoring state or designated area, work, study for the duration of your visa.

After 2 yrs of living in the state/designated area, and working for at least 1 yr, you can apply for visa 887 which is a permanent residence visa.
