@anabanana Yes, cumulative yung 90 days. Kapag more than 90 days ang stay mo within that 4yrs, kailangan mong kumuha ng NBI clearance or police clearance kung saang countries ka man nagstay for 90 days.
Prior to the exam, may interview muna. It’s just to confirm whatever answers you have provided in your application plus may police check na ginagawa rin.

May friend akong napadalhan na ng schedule for exam without the NBI clearance requirement kahit na mga 8months ang cumulative length of stay sa Pinas. Kaya nakakalito.
Additional question. Yung occupation sa lodgement, dapat ba same siya sa skill kung saan ka na-aassess from 189?

@anabanana I could be wrong, may nakalagay palang “and” sa mga conditions so it seems that you have to meet the 3 conditions. They can still ask for it though during the interview or regardless of.
Taken from Immi website:
You need an overseas penal clearance certificate if:
-you lived or travelled overseas since the age of 18 years, and
-the total time you spent overseas adds up to 12 months or more, and
-the total time you spent in one country adds up to 90 days or more.
If this applies to you, provide an overseas penal clearance certificate from each country where you spent a total of 90 days or more in. We could also ask you to provide a certificate in other circumstances.
Hindi na nagmamatter kung different yung occupation mo from before, ang important is maprove mo yung ties mo with Australia.

Meron bang character requirement or others?

And nakalagay kasi sa "Who can complete the Identity declaration" the following:
Questions 2 and 3 of this form must be completed, and the
photograph endorsed and signed, by a person who:
• is an Australian citizen, and
• has known you for at least one year, and
• is currently working in a profession...
So parang sabi dapat 1 year at least na kilala talaga..pero confusing panu pag newborn.

@Shakespeare23 Pwede yung GP or Pediatrician. Kasi di ba automatic na Au citizen kapag born in Au with PR parents.

Hayyy... parang kailan lang, my partner & I were scouring this forum for tips about Visa 189 application. & now, citizenship application naman. Woohoo! Akalain mo yun?!
(1) What Document Reference No. did you put for your birth certificate? Or yung Local Civil Registrar No. dun sa original copy (which unfortunately is not very legible on mine as it's handwritten)?
(2) Is the date of issue ng birth cert the same as the date the cert was prepared? Or is it the date of birth na mismo?
(3) Dun sa section on evidence of first arrival in Australia, does that literally mean first arrival? I traveled to Australia kse as a tourist before I applied for PR, so does first arrival refer to when I arrived under tourist visa?
(4) And following question 3, do I use my old passport details, as in yung passport na gamit ko when I first arrived? Nag-renew na kse ko ng passport since then.
Yun lang po muna. This forum has been instrumental in the approval of our PR application and I'm hoping it won't fail me now.
Thanks in advance!

@seestra Good luck sa citizenship application.
To answer your questions (based sa experience ko when i applied last Nov 2017)
Maybe yung ibang nag apply can reply as well if they used the NSO printed barcode.
maybe the others can clarify this. Hinanap ko sa apllication ko yung question na ito, apparently, wala so I cannot give input on this.
Same case tayo. Ang nilagay ko, yung first time ko nagpunta sa Australia under tourist visa
Since you renewed your passport.
Good luck. Hope nakatulong.

@epiboy99 thanks so much sa reply!
(1) Sige, I will just try my best to decipher yung Local Registrar No. Anyways, I will attach a copy naman so they can verify.
(2) Dun sa section ng Full birth certificate details, may 3 dates na hinihingi - of course the date of birth, date of issue and date of registration. I assume date of registration would be the date received by the Local Civil Registrar. I'll go out on a limb & just put my date of birth for date of issue siguro. Fingers crossed!
(3) & (4) Will do the same as you then.
Cheers!

Hi sna may makatulong at makasagot. Kaso ang nakalagay kahit complete name based sa docs sa pinas such as fil passport n birthcert at australian drivers license n medicare ay di nila sinama ung tinatawag na Generational initials such as II or IV.. accdng to the dept of home affairs daw.. for citizenship application, kung name mo JOHN SMITH IV ang lalabas sa Cert ay JOHN SMITH lng wala na ung IV. Gnun ngyari sa hubby ko.. now kpg nag applysya ng aus passport they base daw ung info sa cert so itmeans di malalagay ung generational initials. Kht mag apply ako ng change name gnun pa din kcun ang rule when it comes to names daw with IV or II. Meron ba sainyo naka experience ng gnito..so panu na kung nedd nya present docs in the future 2 different name na sya.. passport without the II tpoa drivers klicense meron, tpos fil birth cert meron din.. hayyy sna amay makatulong. Eto ung info abt generational initials

Hello sa lahat, magtatanong lang sana ako kung valid pa ba kaya ung NSO na gamitin ko to apply citizenship or kailangan ko kumuha ng PSA copies? wala din akong copy ng original birth certificate ko nawala ko siya, so ever since ung NSO copies ang ginamit ko to apply passport and visa Im a bit worried na baka hindi nila i accept ung NSO copy lang. Thanks in advace

@janebaguio nung nag apply ako last November 2017, yung NSO birth certificate ang ginamit ko. Yun din yung ginamit ko when i applied for PR. Wala naman naging problema.

I use a copy from the Municipal Civil Registrar kasi wala sa NSO ang corrected Birth Cert ko( corrected 20 years ago hanggang ngayon di pa naayos ng NSO :-) ) at wala naman problema...they just wanted to make sure of your identity.

@Yvettei What you can do is to prepare a statutory declaration stating that the 2 names are one and the same person & have it signed by a JP. Tinanggap naman yung stat dec nya so since then, ready na kami pag ma-question uli.

Hello! my partner & I submitted our citizenship application 6 days ago, and sobrang pigil ko sa sarili ko na i-check ang status everyday kaya every other day na lang haha! So sa inip ko, I've been reviewing what we've submitted and napaisip ako kung makakatulong kaya if we attach more supporting docs to really prove the point that we've been responsible residents these past 4 years, earning our keep and paying our dues, and also show that we've established myself well in the community. Naks!
So ang tanong ko is, may nag-submit ba sanyo ng additional docs like proof of employment (payslip, employment contract), ATO notice of assessment, proof of ownership, etc.? Do you think makakatulong or is it too much?

Too early to check for update..i had to wait 3 mos for my test invite....you are only required to submit they require to prove your identity. I guess theres no harm of submitting extra docs u mentioned pero it wont help in expediting the processing of your application.
