Patulong naman po about sa financial documents. Yung sponsor ko po ay tita ko at may 2M na po sya sa bank. kaso lang ngretire na sya from work 8 years ago. pero kailangan daw may current source of income yung sponsor. kaso lang yung income ng tita ko galing sa paupahan nya na walang business permit. kaya hirap po kami patunayan n my source of income sya. any advice po kung ano pwede namin gawin? yun na lang po hinihintay ng school.

@janinajastin Latest update on student visa processing time is 21-45 days (counting from the time they received the full application + health exam results, I think). You can start filling up the application form para yung kulang nalang yung i-uupdate mo (like eCoE). See here for the list of information I had to prepare for the student visa application. Pwede mo naman i-save yung application mo tapos balikan nlng mamaya.

From the time you submit your application kasi, irereview ng DIBP yung application mo, then they'll email you to request for additional requirements (usually health exam). Yung sa friend ko nagwalk-in sya sa St. Luke's BGC, then got the results in less than a week (but I suggest you allot 1-2 weeks allowance for health exams to come out). Once ma-clear yung health exam mo, dun mo bibilangin yung processing time na 21-45 days.

So ideally you have at least 8 weeks (from lodging, then health exam, then visa processing) to spare. Recommended time to apply for visa is 3 months before the start of your classes, but if you can apply earlier than that, mas ok para di ka kabahan sa timeframe.

@babie I'm going to study at the University of Sydney. And this is my student visa timeline:

Dec 13, 2017 - Started filling up Student Visa application
Jan 30, 2018 - Lodged Student Visa application
Feb 1, 2018 - Received Request for More Information Email (health exam requested)
Feb 2, 2018 - Went for health exam
Feb 8, 2018 - Health exam cleared; notify DIBP
Feb 23, 2018 - Received student visa grant

@Ajit22 You mean the time between application and receiving offer letter? I applied around November 2016 for March 2018 intake, it took about 12 days in my case (unconditional offer). Since medyo alanganin yung finances/funding ko, nagdefer ako to July 2018, and I received a new offer letter nung May 2017.

We are struggling for SOP not because we don’t know how to write in fact pede na nga atang manalo sa essay writting contest yung amin kaso pina rewrite p din now we are hesitant na gumawa at very cautious kmi regardless of my guide pang binigay pero di na naman sunod sunod ang ayos so nakaka stress baka ipapbalik na naman sayang yung oras. If you guys have a well structured pattern pede pa feed ng info? Meron na kming provision letter.

@olynski hi, if I may ask is the SOP the same as GTE? Ano yung comments ng agent mo sa SOP na ginawa nyo?

@olynski just follow the guide na binigay nila para wala na sila reason na you are not complying with their required SOP format.

hi @olynski anong provision letter po? is that coming from the school? yong sa amin kasi, nag submit lang kami tapos ang agent correct correct lang cya after. tapos submit sa school. then we got our offer for the bachelors

@athelene yup same as GTE sinunod nmn namin guidelines na pinapagawa then check check din ng agent then pinasa nya sa school then ng bigay na ng provisional offer yung school with rewrite ng GTE daw .. bat nmn ganun nicheck nmn ng agent namin pero pinaparewrite ulit kmi ng school
