by the way, paki clarify naman guys kung pano ung certified true copy of documents. ang plan ko kasi, i scan ko ng colored ung original documents tapos i print at pa notary. i consider kaya un na certified true copy? tnx!

Sa visa application po, unless mag-paper based application ka, no need to have documents certified. Just make sure colored yun original documents mo, pwede na po sya just have to scan them for online based application.

Iba usapan naman sa ACS skills assessment, unless original documents ang ipapasa mo, kailangan pa-notaryo. Ang ginawa ko po is photocopy lang ng original documents, then dinala ko sa abogado (notary public), compare lang nila yun original and photocopied document then dry seal na nila yun and stamp ng certified copy of original.

@Bryann: ah, so ok lng pala na scan n lng. mag online application n lng ako sa VETASSESS kasi may discount compared sa paper-based. hehe. tnx sa info!

Hindi ko lang po sure sa VETASSESS, ang alam ko lang po kasi is application sa ACS and GSM visa 175/176, yun lang kasi ang mga nakapagresearch ako. Sa ACS though on top of the online application, you also need to send the hard copy of documents to ACS through post or courier. Then sa visa, yun ang online pwede na no need to send the hard copies of documents unless requested to do so by DIAC.

@methylester, may thread tayo tungkol sa pagnonotaryo pero in most cases puwede na dapat yung scanned copy ng document basta malinaw lahat ng print sa doc

Hi mates! I'm planning to lodge my application this month after finishing my IELTS and receiving my ACS accreditation. I just have a few questions before submitting and I'm really glad I found this website. I hope you can shed some light on these:

1) About this statement: If your nominated occupation is not on the Specified Trade Occupations list, you must provide evidence that you have been in paid employment in any skilled occupation on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) for at least 12 months in the 24 months immediately before applying.

Kasi ang inapply ko sa ACS was Developer/Programmer (5 yrs) pero my recent job was ICT Business Analyst (2 yrs), then I am currently jobless for a year, qualified by ako?

risa is qualified to lodge visa. DIAC's statement is quite ambiguous on the term "any skilled occupation on SOL". Using common sense, "any skilled occupation" pertains to any job in RELEVANCE to nominated occupation.

Example1: if nominated occupation is Developer programmer, and his recent work Occupation is Business Analyst , then no problem with that coz developer programmer is relevant to Business analyst. (both ICT Occupations)

Example2: If nominated occupation is Developer programmer, and his recent work occupation is Statistician (remember that this occupation also included on SOL), then the applicant is not qualified to lodge visa coz both occupations have no relevance with each other.

@tootzkie thanks sa answer, kailangan ko mag pa assess sa TRA meron lang ako head letter ng company for my employment certificate w/o details, at TOR and diploma Original ano dapat ko gawin sa papers pasensya na medyo bago ako dito.

@bertz hello, mandatory ang details for the employment certificate. try mo makakuha nito sa company mo pero kung talagang hindi pwede, kailngan mo magpagawa ng statutory declaration.

Read step by step skills assessment application at TRA Australia website. Napaka-tedious ng application process nila. Kailangan mo pang kumuha apprenticeship (paid or non-paid) sa company ng 900 hrs yata. Then about your qualification, since BS Engineering is comparable with Diploma in Australia, ok na ang degree mo kasi ang required sa TRA ay Vocational Diploma. Meron dung mga pathways for assessment tingnan mo kung saang category ka.

Di kita matutulungan in-detailed about TRA kasi ACS ang assessing authority ko hindi TRA.

A'ok...I think I've received this kind of email too when I enquired to them....So for those who had assessment with VETASSESS, can you please share your experiences. Madali lang po ba sila sumagot? Yung fee po ba, is for both educational and employment (job experiences) qualifications. Mahirap po ba ang process? I'm planning to nominate TESOL (Teacher of English for Speakers of Other Language) and VETASSESS is the assessing body for that occupation.

Kapag nag inquire ka naman sa kanila thru email they respond naman agad sila the next day. Normally ang processing nila takes up to 16 weeks from the date they received the application and payment. Regarding sa fees, one time payment lang un.. 590 AUD (if I'm not mistaken), and ung fee na un payment un para sa assessment including all your qualifications (educational and employment). Hindi naman mahirap ang process, maraming lang documents ang kailangan ipasa at ipa certify. Doable naman lahat. Goodluck!

The status of my ACS skills assessment went backward from stage 4 to stage 3 after following up with an email the other day more than a month after they received my documents. I received a reply, the assessor is requesting for more detailed job description.

I took a risk by sending only the basic certificate Employment Letter that the HR provided.

Oh well initiating plan B, I'm creating a more detail JD now and I'll let the HR print with company letter head and sign it. That's 2 HR to deal with (2 SG companies).....

@markus, yikes! You should have made a detailed one on first try. It might lengthen your assessment time if they request additional docs like what happened.

Anyway, hopefully you can submit all required docs in time! God bless! ^_^

Pag present company ba more than 12 yrs na ako , pwede kaya yung past company di na isama? Yung 12 yrs na lang include sa application.

Isama mo ang detalye ng work experience mo kahit 20yrs ka nang nagtatrabaho. Ang ipasa mo lang na COE/Reference letter ay for the last 10 years, kasi yun lang naman talaga ang iki-credit ng DIAC.

Ang punto lang ay dapat i-disclose mo lahat ng information mo sa DIAC. Walang dapat itago.

Sana hindi kasama ang visa subclass 176, 175 at 475...may quote kasi, eto yun sa no. 2

Kaka increased pa lang nun July 1 2011 eto na naman kung saka sakali...
