I've been married po for more than 6 years now and I planned to declare my wife and my daughter as my dependents in my skilled visa application.

However, there was a clerical error in our marriage certificate (1 of the letter in my middle name ay namali) and the municipality kung saan po kami nag pakasal refused to process my petition to correct that error because the supporting document needed, which is my mother birth certificate ay may problema rin (May mali po isang letra sa apelyido ng nanay ko) which will take months to process.

    Question ko lang po:
How can I declare my wife as dependent in my visa application?
Can we still use our marriage certificate even if there's a clerical error in my middle name?

I can’t offer much direct to your questions, but sharing my experience, although single applicant ako. When I started the process, my birth certificate was also incorrect (mali apelyido ng nanay ko) but my agent still used it early in the process, until visa lodgement. I petitioned to get it fixed nung nainvite lang ako (a mistake btw, should’ve done it sooner). I just got lucky na my birthplace’s registry office processed it in 2 months. Once I got the amended BC, we uploaded it sa visa application.

I guess my point is I think you will need to get it corrected anyway, so I suggest starting that process as soon as you can—if you weren’t planning on doing so already.

Yes, we processing the din po

EOI goes straight to SkillSelect, whereas ROI is direct to the state AFAIK—it’s up to the state, so some require it and others don’t. Usually ROIs are done separately, for example sa state website, but are submitted in tandem with an EOI.

Hi Guys! hope everyone's great and well!

    asking for a friend.
nag lodge cya ng EOI sa NSW recently through his agency.
ang tanong: hindi nya na update yung agency na bago cya work. ano ba dapat gawin? pwede ba mag update kapag mai ITA na? and how will it affect his application?
    Thanks po!

If she’s got an agent, she can discuss this matter with them. The professional advice > @greenlight_13 said:

Why not? Can you get it rectified?

Requirement po kasi ng local registry kung saan kame nag.pakasal is birth certificate ng mother ko which may mali din po kaya ayaw nila ei process. Need daw po muna ei correct yung surname ng nanay ko which will take months or a year

Hello po, for NSW, better po ba to submit separate EOIs for 190 and 491? or ok lang po ba to indicate both subclasses in the same EOI?

What I know is that for NSW, you should indicate that as your only preferred territory/state. Not sure po for subclass selection. Thank you in advance!

good evening! question lang po, graduate po ako ng medtech tapos assessed na siya ng AIMS as comparable to the educational level of an australian bachelor degree. ask ko lang po kung sa EOI, "Bachelor Degree (Other)" or yung "Bachelor Degree in Science, Business or Technology" po ise-select ko?

maraming salamat po sa sasagot. <3

Thank you po.

if may partner ka, +5 pts sa profile if may positive assessment sya and another +5 if may PTE exam scores sya na 50+. Di naman to required pero it will help greatly with the invite situation nowadays.

No one knows kung ano cut off since wala pa ata nagsstart na 190 invitations, pero for sure mas competitive now kasi ang laki ng binawas sa quota this year. Kaya mas ok na claim as many pts as you can

190 is not subject to priority points. The selection criteria is dependent on the state. Hence, you need to aim for the highest point’s possible for you and just lodge your EOI. If you meet the state nomination selection criteria, you will get invited.

And if magpapa-assess sya, may effect po ba yun sa points na makukuha namin like madadagdagan po ba? Thank you po.

if may partner ka, +5 pts sa profile if may positive assessment sya and another +5 if may PTE exam scores sya na 50+. Di naman to required pero it will help greatly with the invite situation nowadays.

@MLBS thank you po.

No one knows kung ano cut off since wala pa ata nagsstart na 190 invitations, pero for sure mas competitive now kasi ang laki ng binawas sa quota this year. Kaya mas ok na claim as many pts as you can

190 isn’t subject to priority points. That’s more for 189 and 491 family stream.

as far as i know, VIC lang ang may ROI. MAG SESEND ka ng ROI after mo mag EOI. Kasi need yung EOI ID to submit ROI FOR VIC nomination.

Ah... ganun po ba... cge2 poh.. thanku... i've read kasi sa NSW regional sponsorship na regional RDA requires you to submit and be assessed by them po, so ngrrequire sila ng ROI, and you need to pay like $800aud for the said RDA assessment.
