@jimbob, i agree with JClem regarding sa sulat agad though depende sau kung gamay mo na talaga para less erasure. basta one advise na dala ka ng technical pencil para maganda ang sulat. un ang gamitin mo. thats what i did.

and regarding time, be very careful kc dun aq nawala sa concentration. ung invigilator sabi ng sabi ng time, walangjo. praktis ka din if necessary kc un ang talagang kina worry ko that time. kala ko magaling aq magsulat to the point na hindi aq nagpraktis at all. aun during the exam, nagcramming aq sa time and nung binilang ko kinulang aq sa number of words, buti na lang meron pang 10 mins kaya pinagdadagdagan ko. kala ko di aq aabot ng 7, pero aun dala ng prayers naka 8 pa din aq sa writin ;) hehe.

FYI, walang gap ang writing. meaning ung letter and essay, within an hour and nasa sau kung panu mo un pagkakasyahin. ung 20 mins and 40 mins, bale guide mo lng un. but in case matapos mo ung letter in 15 mins pd ka na mag umpisa ng essay, vv.

good luck! aq din nininerbyos na para sa exam ng fiancee ko.

@jimbob, ok lang yan at least longer time to practice.

Kayang-kaya nya yan. :) 4.5 lang ata IELTS requirement for dependents. I believe mas mataas pa makukuha nya dyan. :)

@jimbob, aun namental block daw xa sa listening at dahil dun hindi na nakapagfocus sa reading, hehe. alam ko kc talaga mahihirapan xa kc nerbyosa un masyado, mahina ang loob sa mga ganyan, plus knowing that IELTS is really tough kapag first timer. pero bagsak or pasado, maglolodge na kami ng visa. pagbalik namin from our trip, exam ulit and kapag napaaga ang response ng CO, kahit magbayad na lang ng 2nd payment. cheers

Hello @Harlan! Pwede kayo gumawa ng Statutory Declaration na close na yung company then support it with his available employment records like contract, payslips, BIR forms, SSS/Pag-ibig/Philhealth certificate of contributions and whatever records that your husband has that will show na employed sya nung company na yun. :)

Re payslips naman, if pwede pa sya pa-reprint sa company nya ngayon, mas ok. If hindi na, pwede nya pakita is bank statements nya that will show that his salaries are credited to his account. If talagang wala, again submit all his employment records dun sa current company nya. The more evidences, the better. :)

I have a template of the Statutory Declaration. I'll send it to you tonight. :)

Nominated Occupation: Software Engineer (261313) - Husband is the primary applicant.

I would like to know if we will just give all the documents sa EA for the skill assessment then they will be the one to tell us kng san category tyo ng SOL? I'm a bit confused kc, di ko alam un specific title na ilalagay ko.

    thanks,

Hi @Harlan! I already sent the template in your email. Kindly check your yahoo.

Re your question, the answer is no. :) Ikaw ang magdedetermine kung sang category ka ng SOL then you will identify your nominated occupation in that SOL. The SOL that you're going to use depends on the type of visa you're applying for. Eto po sabi sa DIAC site.

If you apply for a General Skilled Migration visa on or after 1 July 2011 and you are not nominated by a State or Territory Government, you must nominate an occupation from Schedule 1 of the Skilled Occupation List.

If you apply for a General Skilled Migration visa on or after 1 July 2011 and you are nominated by a State or Territory Government you must nominate an occupation from either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 of the Skilled Occupation List.

Once you have chosen your nominated occupation, example Civil Engineer, lahat ng documents mo that will show you have that skills, yung ang susubmit mo sa EA para ma-assess nila qualifications and skills mo as Civil Engineer.

Nominated Occupation: Software Engineer (261313) - Husband is the primary applicant.

Hi wilcez and everyone, has anyone a sample of career episode of chemical engineering.. Im a little nervous how to relate my current job to Chemical Engineering. My current job is more of maintaining engineering data in the system (i.e. SAP, etc). I will just put there that im in direct contact with the people in the business, sites and refineries, and will make my wordings more technical, do you think it's ok to do that?

Appreciate your advise. Thank you. :)

    Hi I am new here.

I already compiled all my documents for Engineer's australia assessment except for one. Kasi current company ko dito sa UAE is not giving me an employment certificate as per the format required ng EA they can only provide employment certificate as per company policy daw may job title but without the job description.

In this regard, how can i proceed? is it ok I will make statutory declaration for this case? Can any one help me and send me a specimen copy to my email [email protected]

Thank you so much in advance. This will be a big help since I am almost complete with my documents and this one is the only thing holding me back

    Hi Adelle,

Yes, you can use a statutory declaration but you have to support it with other documents like contract (which sometimes have the roles and responsibilities of an employee), payslips, or any employment records you have.

I can send you a template tonight. That's for closed companies but it's easy to modify based on your need. :)

Thanks Ms. JClem! Muntik na ako mawalan ng pag-asa sa kaka request ko ng COE with my current company for the past 2 months.

One more clarification even if one of my career episode is with this company is it fine to use the statutory declaration along with the supporting docs?

sana di na ako dumaan sa agent if nakita ko tong forum na to earlier. They are insisting na dapat yung prescribed employment cert.

Hi @adelle_82! By the way before you resort to Stat. Dec., instead of asking your current company to give you a COE, have you tried na din ba na ikaw ang gumawa ng COE based sa DIAC requirements, print it sa company letterhead nyo and then papa-sign mo na lang sa immediate superior mo? Ganun kasi ginawa ko.

Ok lang naman na insist ni agent mo na prescribed COE ang ipasa mo, yun talaga the best. Pero worst case na wala talaga, may other ways naman which is Stat. Dec. nga.

I have tried to insist for the same format COE I even printed it anyway di talaga cla mag bibigay. Yan din problem ng kaibagan ko dito sa UAE. Anyway, I have asked Engineer's australia din for confirmation and they are quite accommodating.

Anyway, one more clarification regarding dun sa PRC certification did you guys submit only the certified true copy of the PRC certification and board rating or you need to submit the one authenticated by DFA tapos nka red ribbon. I'm a bit confused.

    Thanks!

I only submitted the scanned copies of the PRC certificate & PRC ID (online lodgement) and they were fine.
