Good morning po sa Lahat first time kung mag post sa website na eto.
Me and my Partner lodged a Prospective Marriage Visa last June 30, 2019 and we applied for a Tourist Visa last October 7 2019 using an Immigration Agent From (MARA). But till now we don't hear anything from my Lawyer. Hoping that my Tourist Visa will be granted so my partner and i could celebrate christmas and new year together.
My partner is an Australian Citizen and I'm a Filipino
Any thought po kung bakit ang tagal ng processing?

It will be his first Au tourist visa. My cousin (the wife) is in the Philippines and is hoping they can come here together (flight is this Friday) so I called IMMI in behalf of my cousin but since I am not an authorised person in the application, they can not open the account and just told me that they should not have booked their flights without the visa yet but the flights are used as evidence in the visa application.
Told them that it's past the 26days timeline and was just replied with they just have to wait. I think DHA is really facing some issues with all these backlogs/delays even in tourist visas.

Hello. I was expecting na matatagalan ung visa namin kasi I only filed Oct 28 and may mga matatagal na filed na dito. I just got our grants Nov 5. We are a family of 5, with previous Australia travel nung 2015. Kaya siguro mas mabilis naapprove 🤔 I have been stalking our IMMI acct and mid afternoon, I saw na Received status pa rin sya. Then around 6pm I got the grant email.
Maybe nagveverify pa sila ng info sa mga wala pang updates?

Hello po. Nabasa ko po na medyo matagal magprocess ng Visa 600 ngayon. Pupunta po ako sa Perth sa January para magtake ng CCL via Visa 600. Kung sisimulan ko na po applyan ngayon, yung funds ko 3mos ago ay 5digits (pesos) lang. Tapos this month 6digits. Pwede na po kaya ako magsubmit ng visa application ngayon o hintayin ko na sa 1st wk ng dec para may dalawang bank statement ako na 6digits? Baka po kasi makaapekto sa susunod na applications pag nadeny ako this time. Mukhang medyo tight na rin ang timing.
Nagka visa 600 na nga po pala ako nung 2016. Pero company funded kaya walang bearing yung bank statement ko noon. Thank you po

I suggest apply asap kasi matatagalan talaga ngayong holiday season baka di ka umabot sa target date mo. Sulat ka rin ng cover letter explaining the following:
1. Purpose of your stay
2. Reasons for you to go back to the PH + list of documents to back it up
3. Kung saan manggagaling yung funds mo, in your case, ok lang kahit 5 digits, explain mo lang why, saan nanggaling yung money, and na meron pang parating na money and kung saan din manggagaling yun, evidenced by payslips, etc.

My cousin's husband got his TV an hour before his scheduled departure (Nov 8) last Friday (32 days since lodging). They have already re-booked their flights though before that.
He got a single entry TV by the way.

@alexamae parang matagal sya in general now. Case-to-case basis talaga. Yung samin medyo mabilis pero we are a group with previous travel to Australia. Ang mga nababasa ko umaabot talaga sa projected processing times or lagpas pa. Unless na ung mga mabilis naprocess e hindi lang nagpopost dito kaya hindi mamonitor

Thank you for the reply. Oo nga dati/usually mabilis lang pag may previous travel dito. Ngayon parang aabot talaga ng waiting time ng 19-25 days ata. Sige will keep on waiting, no choice haha.
