Hello! Asking for some insights lang.
I am a licensed Registered Nurse who finished a Bachelor of Science in Nursing back in 2007 in the Philippines. I do have a minimal experience in a Hospital Setting thou. I tend to work "in-line" with medical all through out and I was able to work as a Private Duty Nurse, an Assistant Nurse, a Nurse Marketing Representative, a Health Coach and also as a Medical Team Assistant. Then some others would be not in sync with Nursing anymore.
So what happens is that I got a handful of work experience pero iba iba. I would like to know What are my chances? What would best suit my case? Pwede ba ako sa Visa 491? I got a brother who's in NSW. Or dapat ba na mag Student ako?
Thanks in advance guys!
Stay safe and stay at home!

If you have a 450 hour nursing related experience within the past five years you can apply for AHPRA registration, otherwise take a nursing conversion course.

As I mentioned, if you have 450 hours nursing related experience within the past 5 years, you can have your qualifications assessed by AHPRA and be referred to the OBA pathway. If you don't qualify you will have to undergo nursing conversion course, which will take about 1-2 years depending on the school's assessment of your qualifications.
AHPRA registration is required for 491 visa whether regional state or family sponsored... you can be sponsored by your brother in NSW if he lives in a regional area.
