Migration Advice for BPO Professionals

Hello guys! My partner and I are planning to apply for Visa Subclass 189. We are both in the BPO industry with more than 10 years of experience. Any members here in the BPO sector na na-grant? What are the chances?

Thanks,
Archie

BPO is broad. It's not even a specific profession. What are your specific roles in BPO?

I don’t think Business Development Manager is on the occupation list though

Yes it's not included in the list. Sample of required skills are Nurses, Accountant, Engineer, Hairdresser...

Me I'm from BPO but here in Singapore and my designation is under Senior Tech Support.
Applied under "ICT Customer Support Officer 313112" and was approved visa 489... now for border to open.

There is Business Development Manager on the list however it is specifically for ICT. Have also checked the Management Consultant occupation though and we almost have similar tasks.

Btw working in a BPO, I was under the Customer Service operations for 6 years and 4 years in Sales operations ( which is similar to Business Development and Management Consultant) so I am still thinking which occupation should I nominate. Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

Yes, Business Development Manager and ICT Business Development Manager are two different occupations. If yours is IT related than you would fall under this. Would this be the case?

No, I'm not suitable for the ICT Business Dev Manager. I am actually thinking Management Consultant would be the best option or Customer Service?

Best option right now is Canada... Australia's immigration policies are becoming more volatile by the day.

That's my second option if Australia won't work.

Marami po sa Facebook. I suggest if you're single go with Express Entry pathway. If married, go for SDS + OWP pathway. I and my future wife will take our chances on the latter.
