Are you talking here of the skills assessment or just the agent assessment whether you qualify or not? You can claim points on partner skills either by having a skills assessment or just competent english. You use the term BF. You can only include him as a dependent in your application if you are in a defacto relationship( at least 1 year), otherwise you need to have separate applications

skills assessment. yes. we're live in patners for about 3 years. im just worried if he's not going to be assessed by engineers australia, is he still considered as an engineer when we get there?

skills assessment for migration is different from skills assessment to be credited as an engineer in australia.

You can have his skills assessed by EA just for the purpose of recognising his skills probably but for the purpose of migration, no need unless he's the main applicant. I guess employers will still hire you as engineer because they of your work experience. No one ask for your skills assessment when you apply for a job.

If your purpose po is to migrate and work, you will need to do the migrations skills assessment. if your purpose is to become a licensed engineer in Australia, i think you need to apply for chartered engineer which is a different application.
Imo, you don't need the formal title. at the end of the day, companies will look at your relevant knowledge and experience.

oooohhh. now i get it. yan din po sabi ng migration agent na nakausap ko. ako po yun main applicant kaya need ko po magpaassess sa EA. kasi napapanood ko po sa youtube, pag engineer ka, kelangan magpaassess sa EA para pagdating sa Australia, engineer ka dn dun.

As an agent myself, I would recommend that you both apply for skills assessment so you can claim additional 10 points for partner skills (partner must have competent English). I’m surprised this wasn’t factored in by your agent when maximising your potential points.
Skills assessment is only for migration purposes. That’s irrelevant as far as employment is concerned. Depending on the state you’ll be moving to, you both may be required to be chartered but there’s time to worry about that. Concentrate first on getting your visa. Good luck
