The Government will maintain the 2021-22 Migration Program planning level at 160,000. Family and Skilled stream places will be maintained at their 2020-21 planning levels, with a continued focus on onshore visa applicants, including reducing the onshore Partner visa pipeline.

ℹ️ Program planning level 2021-22 (maintained at 160,000):

▪️ 79,600 places for the Skill stream
▪️ 77,300 places for the Family stream
▪️ 100 places for the Special Eligibility stream
▪️ 3,000 places for Child visas managed outside the program ceiling
    .
This measure will ensure the Migration Program is appropriate for the current health and economic circumstances.

    Sadly

""So who are the losers out of this Budget? Well, if you want to travel anywhere over the course of the next year then think again," Uhlmann said.
"This Budget assumes that the international borders will not reopen until this time next year. That's an assumption, not a government policy, but certainly something that will make the travel industry very worried indeed.""

kaya advice sa magiging PR from 2022, ipon ng pambaon bago big move. medicare lang ang maasahan na social benefit agad. imagine the cost of childcare without the subsidy - average $100/day/child
