hello to all, help me.
i done with my assessment,waited for 15weeks...completed the reqts but i got my result.NOT SUITABLE.
what will i do, i want to apply Skilled-Independent.
suggestion please?

sorry to hear bout it. baka may kulang ka lang na info na nafeed? ok lang ba state mo po dito ung mga pinass mo po sa for skills assessment so others could also assess kung anu ung kulang mo po?

working ako 2001-tll now-autocad designer,operator,technical coordinator(construction) and detailer. graduated architecture.

eto mga pinasa ko.
1.Certified Birth Certificate
2.Certified TOR and Diploma
3.Certified Autocad & 3D Max (ng-aral din kc ng short courses)
4.COE from my company ngyun, very details p nga anu-anu un scope ng work ko.
5. IC and passport copies
6. FORM M (AACA-my assesing authority) with ID photo. completed answers nga p.
7. Marriage contract Certified
8. letter from my company anu position and salary.

start ako pa-assess then will continue s ibang reqts,like nun IELTS and so on.

apply ko 175 Skilled-independent sana.

Hi Robbi1977! I read in another forum that it is not advisable to have your skills assessed by AACA since they won't recognize your degree here in th Philippines. According to the forumers, none of them has successfully had their degrees assessed as suitable. Most of them went thru Vetasses instead. I'm not sure if this is allowed but you might want to check out www.philippines.com.au for more clarifications.

ganun b un,kaya di ako suitable to have 60points.kung wala talaga pumapasa s AACA,dhil iba un curriculum ng philippines at compared nila s AUS,pwedeng un ang dahilan.

share ko din laki ng bayad ko p naman.
i read everything and ngseminar p kami s sg thru agent,pa-assess p nga dw ako.

kaya tlga,lhat ng aspeto malaman natin...

actually, i was helping my brother look for information regarding AACA assessment. when we found out how expensive the fee is, nag research agad kami kasi sayang din kung d naman maka qualify... problema lng ngayon ay hindi na kasali ung associate architect sa SOL so parang useless din magpa assess sa vetasses kung wala kang job offer from australia...

Hi po.. ako naman. Ngtry ako mag asses thru online.. I am registered Architect with 7 yrs wokr experience. Nakapasa ako sa assessment exam.. Tingin ko kelangan Registered Architect ka pag ng aaply ka.. Di ata kelanagn graduate lang ng Architecture.. Nagemail pa nga skin yung mga gagastosin ko lahat..

@rodeltolentino_20 clarification lng po, nagpa assess ka na sa AACA and binigyan ka ng suitable result? what do you mean by nagpa assess ka online? did you pay the fees and submitted the documents?

AACA (assessing authority for architecture) r they allow to have assessment ONLINE?

baka assessment ng qualifications n ang score mo ay umabot s 120points?jan talaga mlalaman mo kgad kung mkkpasa, including IELTS,age,qualifications,experience,partner's points and so on.

di na ako nag pa assessment kasi nasa regional place yung nag sponsor sa akin na employer. ACT is regional kahit city sya. Naswertehan matangap ako noon early 2008. Pahirapan na mag apply ngayun pero try nyo pa rin mag pa assesstment at mag apply ng visa. importante you try your best. Goodluck

ako graduate ng architecture,di license....autocad drafter ang naging work ko...civil,mechanical,electrical areas....nabasa ko s VETASSES release july2011 pwede ako mgpa-assess nasa group C un architectural draftsperson.

ACT is state of Australia and canberra is a nation capital of Australia. ACT is a regional, ang canberra ay nasa ACT kaya regional ang canberra.

Ngayon ko lang eto nabasa. Sa Vetaassess or sa AACA pwede magpa assess ang mga tulad naming mga Architect? @ Robbie1977 magkano ang ibinayad mo sa pagpa assess ng mga docs mo? Ano na nangyari sa pag apply mo ng visa?

just wanna share this cause mu hubby is an architect, pero work nya is in line with engineering as civil structural draftsman, then based don sa agent namin, sabi nya na since by profession eh architect sya dapat vetassess un mag-aassess sa skill nya, so un vetasses kasi as per our migrant agent says...just sharing lang po...

Naguguluhan tuloy ako kung alin sa dalawa, mahal pa naman bayad. Ano kaya ang basehan kung bakit hindi naapprove? Kailangan ba license? License naman ako sana maging okay naman pag nagpa assess na. Thank u jenny_sg & aiwink

based on my readings, BS Architecture in the Philippines is not comparable with Australian curriculum framework, even you graduated from Section 1 school. There are differences in some technical aspects.

Even you passed the skills assessment, it is hard to practice the profession in australia bcoz of the stiff registration like passing a written and practical examination.

@Dukee sabi ng AACA, nung naginquire kme, magpapaasses ka lang sa kanila pag architect talaga ang gusto mong professio like, pipirma o magtatayo ng sariling firm so nag vetasses muna kme (applying this monday) kse binanggit din ng AACA na puede namang magpaasses ulit pag gusto na nating iapply ang profession.

but as of now architectural draftsman muna kme. mas mura sa vetasses at mas malaking chance na maapprove.

down load nyo un form...SRG1,time consume din s pg-fill up ng form 32pages,pwede rin dw mg-attach ng resume kung mdming experience. s ibang forum nbsa ko ms mtgal ang pg-iintay ng s result s VETASSES,halos lhat kc ng work position andun.

sana umabot kayo,dhil s july2012....skillselect sila.

my husband is also a registered archi. pero di na kami nag-atubiling magpa-assess sa AACA kasi sabi sa ibang forum, wala pang successful na philippine graduate ng archi sa assessment. sabi ng husband ko dahil daw ung turo dito ng archi dito sa pinas is US standard while AU is using british standard.

nag VETASSESS kami, positively assessed naman na cya as civil engr draftperson, un kasi ang linya nya ngaun. cya dapat gagawin kong main applicant pero sabit sa IELTS so ako na lng sana pero denied naman NSW SS. kaya eto nag-iisip pa ng ibang diskarte para umabot sa july1 changes.
