Biometric Collection in PH

Just saw this announcement. Checking lang if anyone here received request for biometric? If yes, hope you can share the process para may idea lang in the future.

Starting Monday, 4 April 2022, the Australian Government is expanding our Offshore Biometric Collection Program to include the Philippines. The program currently covers 51 countries across the globe.

Visa applicants in the Philippines may receive a letter requiring them to visit an Australian Biometric Collection Centre in Manila or Cebu.

Yup, I applied for my parent's tourist visa just now and it showed that they need to do a biometric collection, ang problems yung VFS global na accredited sa Australia, walang kwenta yung website... walang nalabas kung saan ang centre nila... I don't know how to proceed with this....

Tama ito, nag biometrics kame last week.

FYI lang. Obeservation namin parang petiks young mga nasa VSF Global AU kasi halos wala namang pila then inabot ng 3hrs + yung pag collection ng biometrics namin.

Baka walang slot. Balita ko ubusan slots ngayon. Last week nag biometrics din parents ko sa Makati, sobrang tagal talaga dahil biglaan lang daw si AU dinagdag sa kanila then isa lang gumagana that time.

Need ng booking, makikita sa website ng vsf global. And walang priority lane for senior/buntis or disabled person.

Grabe, last week lang sobrang daming slot. Search mo lang sa website nila baka meron dun contact number.

my god, this is the worse website, now I got this error when booking for a date.
I tried all the suggestions but still same result

there should be an alternative on where to pass our biometrics, we are stuck with this crappy vfs global

Try to use your mobile phone to book if laging may ganyang error sa laptop/pc mo.

I tried everything, iPad, tablet, mobile, different laptops but the same result...
paano kayo nakapag book ng schedule dito?

Nag try ako, ok naman. Baka dahil sa IP na gamit mo. Try mo use ng data if mobile ang gamit.

Pero mukhang walang ng slot as of now for biometrics collection for both Manila and Cebu.

Nakalagpas nako dyan sa part na yan, dun nako sa may calendar booking.
problema yung calendar nila lagi nagloloko pag click ko yung arrow for next month

Hi po has anyone else here from the Philippines been able to book a biometrics appointment lately? I tried to book sa VFS Global but I keep getting a message prompt na "VLN number is already used for another application." I tried even changing the number slightly but still the same error. Went to the biometrics office and told me they can't help me, nakaka frustrate, I don't know what else to do or how to resolve this since this seems to be an issue on their part sa website nila.

@clim I was able to book just now. I got the same error when I attempted to schedule another date (only to check yung available slots kasi lagpas sa 14-day period schedule ko) for the same VLN. Do you already have an existing booking? If not, baka pwede mo i-take up directly with Immigration and provide proof.

Hello! I just got my visa granted pero walang ni-require na biometrics for my application. I am worried lang kasi baka kailangan ko pala, tapos wala akong ginawa. I am planning to move 2nd week of July.

Anyone else who got their visa granted na hindi hiningian ng bioemtrics?

I would think getting your visa granted would mean all-okay ka na, otherwise they wouldn't have granted it... pero I might be wrong! All the best.

We have been advised sa immiaccount na magpa-biometrics pero wala po kaming e-mail na na-receive. Did anybody else encounter this?

Hello - lodge my visa last June 10 pero til now wala pa din ung email for biometrics mag 2 weeks na sa Friday. Ano po kaya reason kasi ung ibang nakakausap ko naman po pagkalodge ng visa nila may email agad for biometrics.

@pprmint08 @nashmacoy101 Tama naman yung email that you indicated sa Immiaccount? Perhaps you can notify Dept of Home Affairs, I got my biometrics letter from them tapos immediately after submitting my application din.

Naclick mo na ung sa part ng lodging? After payment refresh mo ung account mo then may makikita kang biometrics and medical. Automatically kasi lalabas sya. Pag Naclick mo un mageemail for biometrics. Check your email din baka mali ung type or spam

@era222 @Kape okay naman po ung email kasi nareceive ko naman ung receipt on my email. Chinicheck ko din lagi spam/junk wala naman. Tapos eto lang naman nakalagay sa actions

Ganito kasi sakin. Hindi kaya may kulang sa docus mo? Ang alam ko kasi lahat need ng biometrics

To add to this: Just had my biometrics this week, and hindi na-follow yung schedule ko, which is 12nn. I was allowed to go inside 15 mins before 12nn, pero waited 2+ hours pa rin kasi may pila.

Sa Makati ka nagpprocess? Plan ko mag same sate sa medical, tinatantya ko kung kaya both sa same day

Thank you for replying. Nauna yung request for health exams, which has been done and received by immi. Late na dumating yung request for biometrics, mga a month after lodging. Tama naman email adds, kasi 3 silang applicants from the same family. Nagccheck din naman ng span lagi.

@agrande I paid 860 something for a subclass-600 visa.
