Australia vs Canada

Hi Everyone! This is my first time here in this group and I'd like to ask for your opinions if you can compare or if you have ideas about which is better between Australia and Canada in terms of work and migration. I am a Quality Supervisor by the way (graduate of ECE studies), currently working in Singapore for more than 3 years now; I just took my IELTS exam and I am having a dilemma over which country to go to for a new work and eventually stay for a long time. I know that someone here may have relatives or at least know someone living/had experienced living in either/both countries - Oz ad CA. Long story short, in which country do you think that I may have a greater chance of a better career? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi @EnriqueMiguel I think one of the first things you should consider is to know whether the occupation you will nominate is eligible for migration in both countries. Of course, it will depend on the visa you will apply for though. Skilled migration stream is the most popular pathway. If you will apply for an immigrant visa of this type, perhaps you might want to check out these lists: ;)

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. Andami ko na rin nababasang thread about Canada and Australia. Most comments nabasa ko about Canada ay yung tungkol sa long periods of winter na parang hindi ko kaya pero siyempre depende pa rin siguro sa particular na lugar sa Canada. BTW, I got an 8 in IELTS and I am now in the process of getting my skills assessed by Vetassess with my CSOL nominated occupation as QA Manager (ANZSCO Code # 139914). Let's see kung saan ako mapadpad nito ... thanks!
