Freshly licensed architect with apprenticeship experience looking for job opportunities in Melbourne

oalmtonoalmton Posts: 2Member

I'm a freshly licensed architect in the philippines looking to pursue a career in project management in melbourne. I know i need to take a masters course to get proper accreditation (I'm planning to in Unimelb). But is it possible for me to find a job in relation to project management with only my credentials from the philippines? Or could I perhaps work as a draftsman then work my way up?

Hi sir/ma’am. PH based pb kayo or nsa Melb na? If offshore pa, try looking into skilled migration muna (190,491) since graduate ka nman and I assume may 2yrs exp kn s Pinas. Assess mo how much points makukuha mo.

If looking for job agad sa Au, from what I see in the past year mahirap makakuha work sponsorship outside of Au especially sa field natin. Mas prefer nila nasa Au na.

Pero maganda sana kung i-figure out mo muna kung anong occupation mag ffall yung majority ng work experiences mo para mas maaga mo mapataas yung points mo.
you can try Construction Project Manager, Architectural Draftsman, (Architectural, Building and Surveying Technicians), or yung iba na semi related like other Drafting occupations, Interior Design, etc. Parang mostly Vetassess ang assessing body.
you can check the occupation here.
Then kung ano yung assessing body nya, dun mo i search yung description nung nature of work para sa occupation na yun.
