hi guys! just want to inquire po sana re: required PTE score for NSW State sponsorship? salamat po

@pink_angel19 wala naman sila naka specify na required. Pero having a superior result will put you in prirority to be invited to apply for NSW sponsorship. From their website:
The selection process is competitive. Candidates are selected and ranked in the following order:

Occupation
Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) points score
English language ability
Skilled employment

Currently kc we're seating at 55pts palang
Age - 25
Work Experience - 15
Qualification - 15
English Test - 0

Un husband ko kc un main applicant then mag-papaassess din ako for additional 5 points (spouse)

We're thinking of adding another 5pts for state sponsorship. Pero we're on a dilemma if may chance khit 0 score ni hubby sa English (although his PTE Score is really closed to 65 points, sumablay lang sa speaking - 63).

@pink_angel19 I advisw that you go for at least a Proficient sa English test. That would already give you 65 points. Mas lalaki ang chance mo both sa 189 and 190. May I know your husband's occupation?

Hey guys, first time posting here. Is it true that NSW does not ask for minimum work experience, unlike in VIC? I'm in the ICT field so my occupation is kinda competitive. I got 65 points but it's still on the low end of the queue.

My backup plan is file for 190 NSW SS so it's faster.... but is it faster? Would appreciate any response. Thanks!

@artemis27 yes may case na ganun. if I remember correctly yung claim nya na years of experience was challenge by NSW. eventually na reject sya ng nsw.

that's the issue he just claim what the assessing body says na I claim. nun verify cguro ni NSW hindi nag agree sa assessing body. I didn't know the entire story. nabasa ko lang somewhere here.

@batman thanks man. So it true that there's no minimum years of experience required for your nominated occupation? In Victoria, they want 5 years experience for ICT Business Analyst.

@YoungJebediah based on what I've read nothing mentioned about year of experience as long as you have reach the min. points, though they invite those with higher points.

@batman that's awesome. If I apply for 190 I could probably get 70 points. But I'm waiting for my 189 first. If that's not successful or taking too long, I'll submit an EOI for NSW.

@YoungJebediah you can create 2 EOI para wait ka na lng ano mauna. kong di nman prorated and nominated occupation mo malaki chance ng 70 pts.

@batman lol yeah that's the thing, it is pro-rata. So if 189 is too long, I'll lodge 190 instead. But we'll see, baka maging swerte hehe. Thanks man!

Hi may taning lang po ako. Tumawag po ba kayo sa NSW after or before niyo nasubmit ung EOI? Kailangan bang tawagan or hintay na lang sa result?

Stream 2 yung mga occupations na wala sa priority list ng NSW pero ininvite nila (basta nasa MLTSSL or STSOL)
