    @onesilvertwo - Congrats po in advance tiyak pasado ka na nyan. For me naman, i think kelangan ko mag retake. Sablay ang Writing ko eh tapos ung unang sagot ko sa Listening mali kaagad ang sagot ko..huhuhu! Dapat BOSE ang gamit nilang speaker eh para klaro talaga. Pero wait ko nalang result sa Sept. 16. Pede na ma check online.

    @mimaahk ako din nagulat sa bilis ng result. inexpect ko september pa..nung pumasok sa inbox ko, kinabahan ako. haha! tapos ayun nga, sabi intayin ko daw kasi sinend na nila (aug 3). After two weeks from their notification, I received the letter.

    Mabilis ang siguro basta kumpleto ang documents. Darating na din ang sa inyo, dont worry.. :)

    @Phil_Sing_Au ako din I registered for another exam on sept 24. kasi di ako sure sa speaking part ko. haha! ok na din umulit, para atleast mag improve ang score. Pero gaya mo, umaasa pa din ako na ok ang result. kahit band 7 masaya na ako. ikaw ano ba target mo? Do you need 8?

    Target score...sana 9.5 eh. Hehehe! 7 sana sa lahat ok na yun. Antayin ko muna result tapos pag sablay pa sked nalang ulit ako. Sayang din kasi yung fee eh. Kamahal biruin mo 310Sgd sa BC. Wait nalang ng result mga ilang days pa. Goodluck sa lahat ng kukuha ng mga exam.

    Mga ka forum, ka IELTS,

    I already received my IELTS Test Report. Eto po ang aking nakuha:

    L- 7.5, R-7.5, W-7.0, S-8.0
    Total band score : 7.5

    I'm so happy with the result of the exam! Akala ko sa speaking ako sasablay. Haha! Hopefully on the next exam on the 24th, I can score higher though I am already satisifed with my performance.

    With this result, it puts my application to exactly 65pts.

    One more try before submitting the application.

    Just sharing. :)

    congrats onesilvertwo! if u dont mind anong visa subclass aaplayan mo and ano course mo sa Pinas? aq kc Bachelor's Degree pero im worried might di 15 points ibigai saken kc section 2 lng school q. @Lokijr, mali naman ata ung info na ung latest result ang susundin. as far as i remember qng anu ung IELTS exam number na ibibigai mo sa DIAC un ang susundin nila. Not necessarily the latest. Correct me if i am wrong.

    salamat @unanimous21! I will apply under subclass 175. :) BS Degree din ako, section 2, nag masters din ako (though same lang ng score, 15pts).

    PERO, I am not convinced yet with school sections affecting the score. In my case (or for all IT professional), I went through ACS assessment and received a positive result, and the reason why we are asking for opinion from these offices is to have our qualifications assessed if it is equivalent to australian standard. From the DIAC site, they mentioned that they will consider these opinions when evaluating our immig applications. I didn't actually read anything about school sections. I will try to check other forums discussing abt this matter. For now, in my opinion, we don't need to worry about sections as long as it has been assessed by the respective assessing authority.


    @Lokijr, I believe, any from the IELTS result would do. I don't remember reading about restrictions on taking and submitting the exam result. :) Also, all results will remain valid and verifiable from BC/IDP (as long as it has not expired).

    @LokiJr, yes, necessary documents to support any claim should always be included on the application. But then again, this is regardless of what section the school is. :)

    I am not totally disregarding the entire topic about the school sections, anyway, it is really important to be noted and considered. But we should also try to limit our considerations on what is currently written on the DIAC website.

    @onesilvertwo, i also have the same perspective as yours regarding the school sectioning. I am just bit worried because the visa fee is quite big. Though my school falls under section two, i reckon the 5-yr course (common in engineering courses in the Phils) plus my PRC license as Civil Engineer would be enough to qualify my education as bachelors degree in Oz. Fingers crossed na positive ung skills assessment q with Engineers Australia so i can lodge our visa before year ends. Pagnagkataon mag 175 na din lang ako. Cheers.

    sa review namin walang sinabi na ganyan.. pag mali spelling mali po.. kaya nga may lecture din kami about sa spelling hihihihi

    Minimum score for ALL IELTS exam should be 6..bale tinitingnan is yung lowest score na nakuha niyo sa apat na areas. Kunwari reading, writing at listening niyo 9 pero 6 lang speaking niyo, over-all band would most likely be 8.0 pero ang iaaward sa inyong points sa visa ay IELTS 6 lang.

    Pag All 7, may 10 points kayo sa visa application...Pag 8 or 9 lahat ng areas, 20 points naman :) Medyo mahirap po magkamali ng spelling sa listening exam, mga simpleng words lang naman po sagot sa karamihan ng tanong dun :)
