@Phil_Sing_Au ako din I registered for another exam on sept 24. kasi di ako sure sa speaking part ko. haha! ok na din umulit, para atleast mag improve ang score. Pero gaya mo, umaasa pa din ako na ok ang result. kahit band 7 masaya na ako. ikaw ano ba target mo? Do you need 8?

I already received my IELTS Test Report. Eto po ang aking nakuha:
L- 7.5, R-7.5, W-7.0, S-8.0
Total band score : 7.5
I'm so happy with the result of the exam! Akala ko sa speaking ako sasablay. Haha! Hopefully on the next exam on the 24th, I can score higher though I am already satisifed with my performance.
With this result, it puts my application to exactly 65pts.
One more try before submitting the application.

PERO, I am not convinced yet with school sections affecting the score. In my case (or for all IT professional), I went through ACS assessment and received a positive result, and the reason why we are asking for opinion from these offices is to have our qualifications assessed if it is equivalent to australian standard. From the DIAC site, they mentioned that they will consider these opinions when evaluating our immig applications. I didn't actually read anything about school sections. I will try to check other forums discussing abt this matter. For now, in my opinion, we don't need to worry about sections as long as it has been assessed by the respective assessing authority.
@Lokijr, I believe, any from the IELTS result would do. I don't remember reading about restrictions on taking and submitting the exam result.

Dun sa School Sectioning, valid concern naman po yung points...may thread din po dito tungkol dun and best to prepare the necessary documents especially kung Section 2 or 3.

I am not totally disregarding the entire topic about the school sections, anyway, it is really important to be noted and considered. But we should also try to limit our considerations on what is currently written on the DIAC website.
