Deferred Medical

Hi Guys,

I got diagnosed of TB last Dec (no symptoms) during the medical checkup. Early stage pa lang. and immediately nag medication agad ako. To make the story short., I finished the Meds and I got the clearance last June. I submitted agad yung Med Clearance sa https://online.immi.gov.au/. It's been two months now and wala pa din update ng visa grant.

Anyone knows gano katagal inaabot and visa after makakuha agad ng medical clearance after medication?

Did u contact your CO? Inform mo agad sila para ma-resume nila ung pag-assess ng application mo.. kung na-email mo na sila.. tawagan mo yo follow up.. good luck

@fatcandy what's the update of your medical? May visa grant ka na ba?

I need to have repeat laboratory tests on Fen 2016.

@fatcandy regarding sa TB case mo, did you undergo sa sputum test kaya ka nila nadiagnosed na may early stage TB?

Hi @OZwaldCobblepot, tanong ko lang po, after ng sputum tests ung pulmo consulation or pwede same day? Ung SLEC po ba ung magrerefer ng pulmo na affiliated sa kanila or pwede any? Thank you!

@tiggeroo yung sa miisis ko, after ng 3rd day ng sputum collection, sinabuhan kami ng schedule kelan kami dapat bumalik for pulmo. yung pulmo din nila macoconduct ng evaluation. minsan, ung 3rd day na din mismo ung araw ng pulmo, pero in our case, pinabalik kmi

Thanks @OZwaldCobblepot! Dun po sa previous comment mo, March 7 pa ung repeat x-ray, so around 11 weeks waiting time for the cultures? Sama sama tayo sa paghihintay hehe baka abutan pa tayo ng election...

@tiggeroo 8 weeks lang ung culture. but dun kasi sa referral letter na binigay sa min, isa sa mga nakalagay na requirement is repeat xray after 3 months. so roughly less than 3months ung whole process.

Thanks @OZwaldCobblepot! Akala ko kasi nung una 3 months after the sputum collection, eh mejo na-late na ako magpaschedule kasi inabutan ng holidays. Un naman pala 3 months from the initial x-ray, kahit papano 1 month na nakalipas for us, 2 more months won't be so bad

@mergetwo hi, if your CO asks for it, then you will have to provide, quarterly po for all claimed work experience.

@tiggeroo is there an alternative? I mean, my husband never kept his payslips. Pwede kaya for all employments? Or wouldnt the COE suffice?

Ano po ba yung reason bakit humihingi ng payslip?

@mergetwo I'm not sure, CO discretion lang siguro, we frontloaded ITRs and COEs upon lodging but upon contact, the CO requested for payslips. Prepare niyo nalang po siguro kung ano meron kayo and wait for the CO to ask for it. They don't put in a reason on the request letter for the documents they ask for so we can't know for sure.

@guenb sa case ko, work reference letters lang. the exact same docs na ginamit ko for ACS assessment. kaya nagpanic ako dahil 15 attachments lang ung akin, pero ung iba lampas 40. tapos just hours after that, dumating ung grant

@prcand case to case basis siguro tlaga, an swerte mo lang siguro. Btw pag ng lodge anu yun as in yung na invite sa visa na plus payment? And why after pa ngka CO ka nag submit required docs? I hope hindi to out of topic.

@guenb oo nga, sana hindi that out of topic... but it was on purpose na wala akong inattach during lodging, kasi hindi ako nagmamadali. binayaran ko lang ang visa app fees.

reason was may pending akong PR application sa isang bansang sobrang lamig (tawagin natin tong country "C") last Nov 2015. eh, similar lang requirements with australia (eg, work reference letters, IELTS results, meds, PCCs, etc). so pinatulan ko narin siya.

di ko sukat akalain sobrang bilis mag process ni OZ at may result na, pero ung naunang application ko kay "C" ay pending parin kahit ngayon LOL

I got deferred due to my medical ang got a grant last March 21, 2015. We front loaded our F815 March 18. I think it helped our CO to process our application faster. Our IED was earlier based on the health clearance of my hubby not mine. They were cleared Dec 8, our IED is June 8. Ibgot cleared March 3.

@mariem thanks for the info sis! Kung sa primary applicant din i-base ang IED ng sa amin lalampas na kami sa 6mos from the clearance. May case po ba dito na kinailangang magmedical ulit dahil naextend dahil lang din sa deferred medical? Conundrum hehe...

Ah if that's the case baka i-base sa medical mo. The medical can be used within 2 years (need to confirm) kaya I don't think na kailangan mag repeat.

Hope anyone can help. My daughter's medical got deferred because she is currently under medication for Latent TB infection. We got an email from BUPA/MOC to continue her treatment then repeat X-ray once done. Ask ko lang po, ano na un magiging next step namin for now? Do we need to go back to the panel clinic (SLEC Global in our case)? Please help enlighten. Thanks!

@maren1026 , SLEC Global should email or call you back about the email you received from BUPA, 607 din ba yung code na binigay ng BUPA? My wife is continuing her treatment sa St. Lukes Manila naman.

@paulcasablanca1980 thank you sir! i already called SLEC Global kanina and ayun nga daw, just need to complete the medication then repeat xray and consultation sa pedia pulmo in SLEC Ermita after. Its comforting to know na meron din someone na ganito un case samin, you somehow gave us hope, looking at your timeline, medyo matagal na din paghihintay nyo pero if based on your last CO contact na they're just waiting for your wife's medical to be finalized, it seems grant na agad kasunod nyan. @maren1026 pag positive s tb 6mos ang medication. Pag pinag culture test 2mos aabutin ng paghhintay. Pag negative s tb 2mos lng ang hintay. Tapos repeat xray.

@mehawk28 actually negative nman lahat ng test nya so far pero nun sept kasi nag-start cya ng medication for latent tb kaya ayun pinapatapos until june pa then repeat xray.

@mariem deferred din yong medical ng anak ko. Sino ba mag-advise na mag-sign ng Form 815 and BUPA o ang CO? Mag-email ba sila at sasabihan ka na kailangan mag-sign ng Form 815? Pls share ur experience thanks

@Cecil Lito after X-ray (-) and skin test (+) for my sons Wala naman akong na received from DIBP na additional request. I submitted form 815 for both (+ skin test) my son kahit Hindi pa hinihingi, I submitted it together with my form 815.
