Hi. My boyfriend and I are planning to apply for De facto visa. I am still legally married in the Philippines but we have separated 5 years ago but no legal documents. We have been in this relationship for 2 years now, our relationship is widely known by my family and his family. I have 2 kids and they get along well with my boyfriend. Do you know anyone with the same situation? I would be glad to hear your stories and advices. My email ad is [email protected].

Bulaklak yes me na approve and I was one of the first with a harder case like yours. You need statements to prove na wala na kayo ng ex mo, pictures and documents from your families and friends. Although ang hinihingi lang ng immigration is the Stat dec from aus citizens, the more docs the better. Remember all details during interview maski pikit mata ka.

3months and 9 days ata. Lodged mid dec got the visa mid March of the ff year.

Hello po. Baka po may makapag advise sakin. Hiwalay na po ako sa asawa ko pero wala kaming legal documents as proof na hiwalay kami. Ngayon po nung nagsubmit ako ng EOI nilagay sa relationship status ko ay Married pa rin dahil di pa kami legally separated. At dahil po dun kelangan pa rin nya magmedical and magsubmit ng mga docs nya once mag lodge ako ng visa. Ang problema ayaw nya makipagcooperate. Ano po kayang gagawin ko? Hayaan ko lang na married yung EOI ko tapos kumuha ako ng stat declaration na separated kami tapos isubmit ko yun pag naglodge na ko ng visa? O dapat baguhin ko yung EOI ko? Sana po may makapagadvise. Thanks in advance.

Hi @desert. Kung di ka pa legally separated, theyre requiring statutory declaration from your ex to describe how and when the relationship ended. Tapos ikaw din susulat ka ng sarili mong statutory declaration.

@bulaklak we have the same case. Im still legally married but has been separated for almost 4 years. i also have 2 kids. Ive been with my partner for almost 3 years now. Lodged partner visa application last september 2015 and still waiting for the decision.

@bulaklak we have lodged it in manila kasi sinama namin kids sa application. You can lodge onshore, pero di namin ginawa kasi kelangan nasa oz din kids kung onshore namin i-lodge. We wanted them to finish school year 2015-2016 first.

Hello , @don2 @sakura88, tsk tsk tsk..wala na ata ako chance maisama yung partner ko with our kids. wala kasi kami(ex) legal docs that we already separated and yet di pa kami nagpa file ng annulment. almost 10years na kami separated. meron pa bang ibang way for this case, appreciated if you can suggest or give a concrete details/info.Thank you.
