Medical Examination needs further test

Hi! I need your advise po regarding my application. I have been admitted as an svp student in sydney. All went well until i underwent my medical exam. May nakita daw na nodule sa left lung ko. Nationwide Health in Cebu recommended for ct correlation but nag send ng email and dibp sa akin that my health assessment was deferred daw because i need to undergo sputum test to make sure if i have tb or not. Ok lang naman for me to undergo the test kasi it's also for my personal satisfaction din naman knowing if im ok or not. My problem lang is, my class will start on march 7 and as what i have read Sputum culture will take 8 weeks for the result to come out. If i have to wait that long for my medical clearance, i'll miss my class. I really need help on what i should do. I have no idea regarding this matter since it's my first time applying for this visa. Im applying with idp but my agent is currently on leave so i have to wait until he returns but i cant sleep coz this keeps on bothering me... knowing na wala akong answers. Pls do enlighten me. have you tried asking na po your CO, Nationwide or other IDP agents regarding your concern po? maybe they could help by processing your papers quicker than normal since i think valid naman ang reason mo that you will miss your class if you did not obtain the required medical result as soon as posisble..

@filipinacpa i've tried contacting idp po but they said i need to wait for my assigned agent to return because he will be the one to talk to the CO. I tried calling nationwide cebu but seems like no one's picking up calls (actually, yun din reklamo ng iba na tawag daw sila ng tawag, wala naman sumasagot).

@bluepsykhe i see po.. in my opinion po, the most possible way is to request talaga the dibp for immediate processing of visa or nationwide to release the result immediately..

hopefully mag aassist si IDP to raise this concern with your agent..

@bluepsykhe My wife had to undergo the sputum and TB test too. 3 months ang naging duration. Ang naging problem sa case namin is that after 3 months another month or so pa before ma-upload ng St. Luke's ang result / clearance. If may problema sila nakita tatawagan ka agad. Kung wala naman maghihintay ka lang ng matagal.

Ang ginawa namin ay humingi ng extension sa school for enrollment. Pinagbigyan naman ako ng one week. Tapos kinausap ng wife ko iyong tao sa St. Luke's kung puwede nila bilisan kahit sa uploading process lang. Sinubukan naman ng St. Luke's gawin iyon at sa awa ng Diyos nagawa nga nila.

August 3, 2015 start ng classes ko. August 5 yata lumabas medical clearance. August 7 na-grant visa namin. August 8 nasa Australia na kami tapos straight na ko sa school.

Options ko noon naghihintay ng sputum test:
1. cancel application ng partner tapos apply na lang siya after clearance.
2. defer enrollment to next term
3. refund before census date
4. Dasal at hintay.

Pinili namin ang dasal at hintay.

PS. If buzzer beater din ang mangyari sa case mo, when you arrive sa Australia baka ihinto ka ng immigration because of the health clearance. Chill ka lang, baka lang hindi na-update sa system nila. Sa case namin, kung hindi kami nag-apply ng permanent visa hindi namin malalaman na hindi nga na-update sa database ng DIBP ang health clearance.

@eunofficial hi! Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Medyo hassle nga sa show money kasi yung computation ng idp medyo paunti unti. Dati sinabi 1.2M lang eh lately naging 1.6M na tapos nung nagbigay na ako ng bank cert na 1.6M, kulang na naman daw

@attysarle thanks for the reply po. Cleared na po ako as of last april 11 kaya lang IDP naman problema ko ngayon. Ang labo kasi gusto ko na mag backout. Nung una, ang sabi antayin ko clearance from medical ofcr bago mag lodge ng visa. Ngayong cleared na ako, show money ko naman nagka problema. Dati 1.2M lang, ngayon 1.6M naman tapos nung may 1.6M na ako, kulang na naman daw ng 70k. Kaya nga nagpapatulong sa kanila para di mahirapan eh parang sila pa dahilan ng stress ko ngayon. Hassle talaga. I wont be recommending IDP cebu to anyone at all

@eunofficial hi! I think it's best to wait for the medical result. U can view it sa immi account mo naman or u can ask for the results from the clinic kung san ka nagpa medical.

@eunofficial not yet...still ongoing pa ang processing. Dugay raba daw kaayo ang decision sa embassy nowadays.. ang 15 days sometimes mahimo ug 1 month or more

@eunofficial diploma of business sa kent institute.. dapat may 23 ako intake but since wala pa na lodge sa idp ako visa, magpa defer napud ko. Pinaka barato ang kent sa tanang schools nga ako na research... 3900 ra ang diploma course. Ikaw? Unsa imo school?

@Joshua1_9 Brother, i got mine cery cheap. 7,200AUD per sem. Tapos 2years lang instead of 3. Trisem pa sila. All in all ay 28,800AUD tuition ko

kaso walang campus sa perth nuh? nasa perth kasi ang tita ko. actually, Diploma IT Networking ang kinuha ko sa perth 5,400 an per sem. mas mababa talaga ang kent. sayang wala sa Perth. hehe

@eunofficial madugay man gud ang sa nationwide kay ila paman na ipada sa st luke's imo sputum so mao nagpa transfer ko st luke's. O, nilarga jud ko. Bayad ko mga 8thou for sputum culture plus 4thou for pulmo evaluation. Madugay nang sa nationwide wa pa jud klaro.. palpak kaayo sila

@eunofficial if kahibaw lang ko nga palpak ang nationwide, didto nalang unta ko st lukes nagpa medical. Ako gipuy an nga boarding haus duol lang st lukes. 150 per night and limpyo lang sad sya.
