Hello po, question po. pag me required score po ung skills pede pa ren po ba sa state nomination un? for e.g dapat po 80 points. kung 75 points lang tpos +5 ng state ma invite po ba un?

Another question po is, kung supplementary ung noc mo sa SA, if you meet the high score, ma invite po ba dun? lets say 75 points ka + 5 points ng state?

ano po ang chance ng supplementary na skill ma invite kung high points po ung factor?

tpos in case po, u are invited ng SA, ano po ang next nun?

@greysworld123 May mga nabigyan dito ng SA invite 75+5 state points (para umabot sa high points category). Di ko alam about chances, pero lately ang pagkakaalam ko lahat ng mga nagpasa with state sponsorship sa SA naiinvite. Ang problema medyo madami yatang nag-apply so medyo extended yung waiting time dahil napakahaba nung queue. And ang supplementary occupation paunti unti napupuno na ang quota for high points category so yun pa isang hurdle. This is for 2018 only. Di ko masasabi sa 2019.


Edit: 5 weeks na lang pala processing time ngayon gaya ng sabi ni Hendro, so mabilis na like Tasmania. Very nice! Noong nag-apply kami around 15-20 weeks.

@greysworld123 As long as complete ang docs mo, you will surely be invited kpag nagapply ka sa SA.

If your occupation is under supplementary list and it requires high points, you can always apply as long as nameet mo yung minimum score required and just follow their application guidelines malaki ang chance mo nainvite, they dont rank candidates by points.

Current processing time is 5 weeks lng at the moment.

Once invited you need to lodge your visa application.

Thank u po mga Sir sa help. Actually di pa naman po ako Superior sa English, but I am currently at 55 points. I have tried IELTS before and scored 7 sa Reading and Listening and 6.5 sa writing and speaking. Me chance po ba ako naka maka 8 kaya if I try PTE? and totoong mas madali po ba ang pTE?

Nahihirapan po kasi ang husband ko mag review ng IELTS/PTE kaya mejo mahihirapan sha maka superior and until now d p kami na invite. And Im thinking na siguro ako kaya mag try but then dapat kasi 80 points ako. and Im racing for time too kasi mag 40 na sa July so dapat before un eh ma invite na.

Ano tingin nyo mga Sir?

@greysworld123 70 pts po ako (+5 for state sponsorship). nakapasok ako before naging high points ang requirement sa nominated occupation ko.

di din naman superior ang PTE ko. pabilisan lang po talaga pag nag open ulit ang SA. naubusan din ako ng slot last time eh kaya nung nag open sila ulit, inabangan ko talaga.

I think more or less a week lang open yung nominated occupation ko before naging high points.

Can't remember kung may specific time sila nag oopen for new slots pero sakin August ako nag apply for state sponsorship.

nagpa-assess na po ba kayo? I read that you are already turning 40 so dapat may enough work experience na kayo to gain additional points or atleast to compensate the points na nabawas sa age points.

@jaceejoef company secretary po sana and more than 10 yrs exp naman po na. kaso it is required na dapat 80 points but if i total ko po lahat 75 points lang po ako kahit i superior ko ang english. so I need the 5 points of SA in case.

I saw in SA na asa supplementary list po sha which requires 80 points then naman. and at this time wala naman pong sinsab na close na sha eto lang po below;

Competent Plus English (or Proficient overall); 3 years' work experience in field; South Australian graduates must be currently working in their field in South Australia for the last 12 months

ano po sa tingin nyo aabot po kaya ako at kaya ko po kaya ma superior ang english ko>?

If you are racing for time, dapat all out na po sa mga ganyang bagay in my opinion. I'm in my mid 30s, and I thought the same. Lalo na po kung committed kayo sa idea na mag-migrate. Kasi, di lang po age niyo yung me timer, pati po yung mga validity ng assessment niyo, yung nominated occupation openings at siyempre yung fiscal year ng states.

I believe PTE is easier ma'am. Marami pong PTE training videos/tips sa youtube, specifically yung E2 Language. Ang good thing po sa PTE mabilis results, and mabilis din makapag retake if necessary.

Btw, ma'am if medyo feeling niyo gipit na kayo sa time, why not consider visa 489. Additional 10 points yata yun.

@greysworld123 70+10 ako and na-sponsor naman ako ng SA for a 489 visa. Nagbirthday ako pagkatapos ko magsubmit ng state sponsorship application and bumaba yung points ko before ako na-invite. Ang ginawa ko is nag-email ako sa kanila 2 weeks before my birthday to advise them na bababa points ko below the required 80 points and tinanong ko if hindi na ba ako magiging eligible for sponsorship pag bumaba points ko. Sumagot ang SA and sinabi na ang kinoconsider nila is yung points at the time you applied. Since 80 points ako when I applied yun ang icoconsider nila when they review my application.

@greysworld123 with your case, better aim for superior in english exam. di na po kami ang makakasagot kung kaya niyo mag superior. you need to be a sponge right now to absorb everything you need to know. stop procrastinating whether you can or can't get that superior result. answer your question by doing something about it.

in case you want to take PTE, here's a rough guide for you to begin:
1. get familiar with the test format. during the actual exam, walang warning or indication na magchange na ang type of question so you better get familiar with it para di kayo magulat.
2. study the format of each type of question and how to answer them
3. choose a technique or template for each question type. kailangan to kasi may ibang question na kailangan mo talaga ng template para masagot mo given the specific time for each question.
4. practice practice practice. three times ako ng exam ng PTE before ako pumasa. practice lang talaga. yung tipong parang second nature na yung techniques and templates sayo pag nakita mo ang question. madaming practice questions online lalo na sa youtube.


also, consider mo din ang 489 gaya ng sabi ni sicntyrd. I'm not familiar with how Supplementary Skilled List works but it's better to also check if you can apply for 489.

Ielts palang po kasi ang na try ko kaya i am not sure kung mahrap ang PTE pero some says mas madali nga po.

80 points po kasi dapat ung noc ko kaya kelangan i maximize tlg. I will start reviewing and see how it goes. I will try my best po tlg na makapag submit at ma superior ang english ko and hopefully makuha po ang superior.

I just want to say napaka encouraging po at di masusungit sumagot ang nasa forum na to hehehe.. nakakagaan ng loob.
