1. Technically, hinde required. Wala naman sa visa conditions na dun ka lang sa sponsoring state pwede tumira at mag-work. Kaya nila ito tinawag na "moral obligation" dahil umaasa ang sponsoring state mo na may moralidad ka at meron kang palabra de honor.
2. Utang na loob mo na sa state na nagsponsor sayo na tumira at mag work sa kanila. Kung hindi dahil sa kanila, hindi ka rin naman makakarating dyan.
3. May ibang nagsasabi na hindi naman daw ito naging issue nung nag apply sila ng citizenship. May iba rin nagsabi na nung nag apply sila ng citizenship, pina-fulfill daw sa kanila ng DIBP yung moral obligation na 2 years bago i-approve yung citizenship. So, swertihan sa CO once mag apply ka na ng citizenship.
4. Mas maganda na i-try mo muna maghanap ng work sa state na nagsponsor sayo. Give it a chance at para sa peace of mind mo na rin.
5. May ibang state na nagbibigay ng "release letters" if napatunayan mong nag stay ka sa sponsoring state for a substantial amount of time (3-6months or more) at talagang wala kang mahanap na trabaho sa state nila.
6. May punto si boss @Anino78 na pwedeng hindi first 2 years ka dapat mag stay sa sponsoring state. Widely debated pa rin ito. Walang makapag bigay ng concrete answer.

So un nga better pa rin talaga na mag-stay sa sponsoring state mo ng at least 2 years parang pagtanaw na rin natin ng utang na loob sa state na nagbigay sa atin ng opportunity na makapasok sa 'straya.
