@LittleBoyBlue Hello there! Ako nag uumpisa pa lang mag-start mag-collect ng documents for ACS Assessment. May tinanong ako dun sa ACS thread pero wala pang sumasagot baka pwede mo ako matulungan. 😃 Eto yung tinanong ko:

<i>Kailangan ba lahat ng job experience ilagay sa assessment or yung relevant lang sa skill? To give you an idea, eto yung work experience ko:

Call center, email support - 1 year
Network Assistant - 2 months
Product Support Engineer (Tasks include BA functions) - 2.5 Years
Functional Consultant/Business Analyst - 3 years and 6 months.

Kailangan ko pa bang isama yung Job 1 and 2? Kung hindi ko isama sa assessment, may effect ba to sa visa processing?</i>

Yung IELTS general ba tayo or academic? Congrats din pala sa visa approval mo, share mo naman timeline mo para ma-inspire kami. 🙂

@rara_avis hindi na, but prepare lng supporting documents dun sa 1&2 pag-fill-up mo ng EOI. ACS will assess yung equivalent ng education mo, kung bachelor or diploma based sa AqF, & then experience.

General lng for IELTS. Good luck! mbilis na processing ngayon. I was invited last Sept 1.

@silvre Ako din target namin is Melbourne. Naiinip na ako sa kakaintay ng papers needed ko for the assessment. Gustong gusto ko na talaga umalis ng SG. 🙂

@silvre Sydney target ko eh, pero kung Melbourne may opening ok din ako dun. January pa start ko ng search, although may mga nakukuha nako skype interview at email, mas marami rejection though haha

@LittleBoyBlue anong reason for rejection? gusto nila nandun ka na?

@rara_avis yep, isa sa common na dahilan yan, gusto nila makausap ka muna nila face to face. Valid reason naman nila, may nandadaya na kasi ng phone interview galing ibang bansa. Another reason na binigay nila sakin is nag-hahanap sila ng may local experience. Naka-tsamba lang ako ng isa na gusto ako i-interview via skype, pero recruiter din yun, balitaan ko kayo kung ano mangyari.

When you say local experience does that mean na dapat meron ka ng related job experience in AU or kahit odd jobs considered as "local" experience?

@rara_avis I would assume experience related sa work mo, I never bothered to ask. I just focused on building my network with recruiters para a week before I arrive I can call them.

Meron po ba dito na file ng ACS certification using RPL? SAP FICO consultant ako pero BS Accountancy grad ako. Hindi ako sure if pde ako sa General Skills Assessment kahit accounting grad or kelangan sa RPL assessment? 4 years plang ako na consultant at meron din ako 2 years sa FICO support.

@v1ncent - so far wala pa akong nakita dito sa forum na nag RPL...

but im quite sure, na pag hindi related IT ang degree mo, you will need to go through the RPL route...

I tried applying under the general skills assessment for BA (with an IE degree).. pero failed..

so para hindi masayang ang oras at pera mo.. and if you are really sure that your skills/experience are suitable, then do the RPL...

Hindi po ba pwede sa Gen Accountant ang skills nyo? baka mas madali dun..Just asking..

@lock_code2004 salamat sa opinion. Cge tuloy ko lng tong RPL since decided nmn na ako mag try sa Australia kaya aus lng kahit sobrang madugo gumawa ng RPL. Hirap mag sulat ng ingles..hehe..

matagal na nung naging accountant ako. ang alam ko may mga conditions din para mag apply as GEn. accountant..parang kelangan yata na ang inonominate mo na anzco code corresponds to ur present line of work.

Kakalungkot naman. As of December 31, 2012, 1594 out 1800 na yung na-allocate sa Business and Systems Analyst. Hay, baka napuno na yan sa selection this month. Around 3 weeks pa bago lumabas yung ACS Assessment ko. Sana kung di man ako umabot, mataas naman sana ang ceiling for July 1, 2013.

wow ang bilis ah, July pa ba mag-refresh? mga 1 month ang ACS eh, tapos yung sa immigration mismo umabot ako 2 months from point of invitation. July pa daw ba i-refresh ulit yung ceiling?

Lipad nako sa January 30, hanap na ng work! Good luck sayo @rara_avis, sana ma-approve ka kagad!

@LittleBoyBlue Bilis nga, around November nag-check ako parang 800++ pa yung slots available. Yun ang sabi, pag napuno na ang ceiling, sa July 2013 na magre-refresh. I just hope na hindi matanggal sa schedule 1 ang occupation natin.
