@yhanie_17 @rooroo - i think you are talking about the "Education Qualification Points"
yun ang depende sa assessment kung degree (15pts) or diploma (10pts)

pero yung Australian Study Requirements (5pts) is wether you studied in AU for atleast 2 years kahit na degree, diploma or trade certficate...

then there is another 5 pts kung sa Regional Area ka nag-aral..

@lock_code2004 Sa palagay ung Australian Study requirements at the time of invitation will only be awarded dun sa nakapag aral sa AU. Hindi ung oversea..

Ung sa Oversea studies mo is ung Educational History points.. Dito mo e claim un..

    Not sa Australia study requirement..

Marami na coconfuse dyan, dalawa na sa pinoyau member ung pinag withdraw because of wrong claim sa EOI.. :(

at pag nagkaroon ng sobra na hindi mo alam kung saan nanggaling, they should re-check it before submitting...

    Professional Year in Australia

You can receive five points for having completed a Professional Year in Australia in the four years before you are invited to apply.

Your Professional Year course must have been in your nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation. The course must have lasted for a period totalling at least 12 months.

Qualifying Professional Year courses are offered by:
    - Australian Computer Society
    - CPA Australia
    - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia
    - Institute of Public Accountants (formerly National Institute of Accountants)
    - Engineers Australia

Another round of invitation this monday! who are waiting to be invited?

Relieved to know that there will be no invitations for ICT Business and Systems Analysts for this round due to the continuing high numbers of EOIs received for these occupations as I have submitted my ACS skills assessment just recently.

As per DIAC "Invitations for these occupations will be issued on a pro rata basis in each twice monthly invitation round over the remainder of the program year".

    Chemical and Materials Engineers
    ICT Business and Systems Analysts
    Electronics Engineers
    Telecommunications Engineering Professionals
    Other Engineering Professional
    Software and Applications Programmers.

Advantage: Good for people who just submitted their skills assessment.
Disadvantage: Those who already submitted their EOI needs to wait longer.

I have some question regarding EOI. Hope you could help me answer these:

    1.) Employment Start Date

What date do I need to put-in in the employment start date? Since ACS new rule is already in effect wherein the result letter says "The ffg employment after Jan 2005 is consider to equate to work....." While in EOI form, it says employment for the last 10 years. So I dont know if I should put-in Feb 2005 if I follow ACS or Aug 2003 if I follow DIAC's last 10 years.

2.) Date From of Educ History

I only know the month and year of when I started college. And I dont have any records showing the excat date. Ok lang ba na hulaan ko n lang ang exact date, ilagay ko na lang Jun 3, which is a Monday. is it not a big deal sa DIAC?

3.) Are there any family members the client would like to include in a future application?

Confirm ko lang if my answer should be NO. I am single and will not include any members of my family in my application now. Pero when the time comes, siguro after a few years, I might sponsor a family member.

4.) Does the client meet the Australian study requirements for the Skilled Migration points test?

Answer should be NO since I dont have Australia education. Tama po?

    Thanks in advance sa sasagot.

    @loudandclear

    1) Employment Start date-- yung ilalagay nyo po EOI is yung work nyo po for the last 10 years na "closely related" sa nominated skill nyo. In your case po, ang work taht was assessed as related po is only from January 2005? If yes, please follow this date
    2) Date From of Educ History -- I also indictaed the nearest Monday in June for my school start year, no issue naman po. pero yung end date po is yung nakalagay po sa Diploma/cert..very important na consistent po
3)Dependents- its up to you po to include the dependents now kahit na di pa sila migrating with you... Factors po to consider are: additonal visa cost plus their medicals (required to go thru po along with your application)
    4) Tama po, "No" ang sagot in that case

@GoToWaOz - thanks so much for the reply.

One more question, no need na ba ideclare sa EOI yung mga work experience na hindi related sa nominated occupation? thanks.

^need ba ideclare? hihingan ba ako ng COE dito? nung nag submit ako ng ACS, hindi ko na kase sinali ang mga non-related work ko. will DIAC ask for proof of these employment?

@loudandclear - Ang alam ko po is kailangan ilagay...anyway, If you answer "not related", you will not be claiming for it, hence no point gained out of it. The CO will only be concerned for those details where you will be claiming points kasi need nya i-validate yun as a correct claim.

Not sure po if there is any issue if you don't put in your expreriences for the last 10 years...

    thanks @GoToWaOz.

regarding naman sa employment start date ko which would start 2005 as per ACS. since I was in 1 company (related work) from 2004 to 2007. so dalawa magiging entry ko. same company, same position...but one entry (yung 2004) iddeclare ko as "not related" and the other (2005 to 2007) is "related". i will not claim points for 2004 so iddeclare ko sya as non-related although in reality related sya. tama po? just want to make sure.

Kuha ka nalang ng general COE for these not related work experience BUT TO BE HONEST right, this doesn't matter as gaya ng sinabi ni @GoToWaOZ, you will not be claiming for this naman...

If ako yung CO, I would not bother too much with that... :)

@loudandclear -just trying to get a clear picture, to clarify po...yung period that was assessed by ACS for your employment po ba is isa lang? Just wondering if baka 5 years yung ina-assess nila then na-cut off lang ng 2005 kaya yun ang start year ng covered as "relevant"? kasi nabanggit niyo po na you worked for the same company...different po ba position nyo from 2005-2005?

i think ang point ni @loudandclear is because of the new ruling of ACS..
meron na sila ngaung binabawas na number of years sa work experience at after mabawas yung specified number of years na yun... dun pa lang magstart ang assessment ng ACS as "Relevant work experience"...

hello po... I would just like to ask about po dun sa claiming points for Australian study, medyo confusing po kasi... I studied po ADVANCE DIPLOMA OF MANAGEMENT here in Australia for 1year then Bachelor of nursing for 1year... so its 2years study but different and I'm not sure if they considered related... can I claim the 5points po ba for Australian study... I would just like to clarify po... thank you po.

    @GoToWaOZ @loudandclear
    - just to follow ACS result, i will break it down into:

    Work A - 2000 to 2002 - "NOT Relevant"
    Work B - 2003- 2005 - "RELEVANT"

baka kasi pag sinama nya ung first 2 years, eh magdagdag EOI pts nya sa work experience..
tapos pag tiningnan ng CO ang assessement result eh nakalagay dun na hindi dapat counted ang 1st two years (example lang)...
