Maka singit lang sa conversation. Ask ko lang if ako muna ang magapply ng visa then if granted na sya ako muna magpunta ng AU then after a year once ma maestablish ko na sarili ko doon ko na lang sponsor ang brother ko as dependent. Question is do I need to pay a lot of money in doing so and how can I prove na I've been supporting him financially? He is older than me by 4 years? And gano katagal kaya ang processing noon? Hope you can help me guys.

there are several ways na pwede mo madala ang brother mo:

    a) include him as your dependent in your visa application, in this case one payment lang kayo kasi it is considered as one application (fee 3060aud), but, a big BUT, medyo mahirap i prove ang dependency lalo na mas matanda pa sayo ang brother mo, like how will you prove na sayo umaasa financially ang kapatid mo? sa bahay mo ba nakatira? etc.. there is a whole lot of considerations.. please check diac's website...

    b) you can apply for your own visa, dont include him as your dependent... but just list him as your brother... after settled kana, you can SPONSOR him thru SkillSelect Visa 489, but this is a skilled migrant visa, so he will need to undergo skills assessment/ielts exam... may additional points lang pag SPONSORED ng relatives for visa 489 (additional 10pts)..

or who knows, baka nmn pwd din sya mag-apply kahit wlang sponsorship mo, as long as nasa SOL/CSOL indemand skills list ang occupation nya..

Maganda yung tourist visa na until 5 years validity.

Kelan po pala yung 2nd installment for subclass 143, bakit may ganun pa? For each parent yun, hindi pwede package deal :D tama po ba, pwedeng tourist visa din muna sila habang nagaapply ng 143?

@amcasperforu..As u have stated ur mom will be ur non-migrating dependent..So on the time na ma approve na ung visa m, hndi pa rin mkakasama ung mom m ksi nga non-migrating. But u have to provide evidences to prove that ur mom is dependent to u and also she will undergo medical health check at police check.

So if non-migrating lg namn mas mbuti pa na wag m na lg e declare ung mom as ur dependent sa application m..

But if u really want to have ur mom be with u pag nag migrate kna sa OZ kailangan m xa tlgang e declare as migrating dependent.

@nfronda, sensya na ha confuse ako, if dineclare ko sya now sa application ko, I have the chance to get her into AU like under parent visa, tourist visa and the likes. Pero if di ko sya ni declare as non-migrating, meaning ba hindi ko sya pwede i file if ever in the future under parent visa and invite to come over as a tourist?

@amcasperforu.. No, even hndi m xa e declare as non-migrating dependent sa application m ngaun pwde m pa rin xa e process sa kahit anung visa na dapt sa knya in the future..

But if u will declare her as ur non-migrating dependent magiging complikado ang application m if ever.. Kasi u have to provide evidences na dependent ung mom m sau and undergo medical and police check. But in the long run hndi pa rin xa kasama sa visa m ksi nga 'non-migrating dependent' xa, but u can still apply her another visa in the future..

So the best option ay wag m na lg xang e declare as dependent ang mom m kng e dedeclare m lg namn as non-migrating..

pro Pag gus2 m tlga xa isama, dapt e declare m tlga xa as migrating dependent..

Wla ba xang tinatanggap na kahit anong allownce or pension from the government? Kung merun, hndi xa pwdeng ma coconsider as dependent sau.

Yung mom ko po, pina retire ko na from work last 1 year and 6 five months ago. She's 54, widowed. Tatlo kami mag kakapatid, our eldest wala na po sa house and doest not provide allowances or anything, ako gitna, then ung bunso may asawa't anak na 4 months. Bunso kong kapatid with her wife also lives with us, same roof.

Ever since nung may work pa si mama, nag bibigay na ako ng finances, then itong lately a year and 6 mos ago, ako na nag ssupport monthly. Ang problem, its not bank to bank transfer at all, since we're living on same roof abot lang, in a way hard to prove. That's one.

Widow na sya more than 15years ago. Not a Filipino citizen which means no support na natatanggap from government. Yung health insurance kasama ko sya sa coverage from company benefits. Other than that, like medicines, checkup if not accredited by the HMO sagot namin.

Correct me if I'm wrong, if ni declare sya as non-migrating at na approve ako, meaning ba nito kasama nya at PR na rin sya?

@amcasperforu.. So talaga plang dependent ung mom m sau..

If u will declare her as non-migrating dependent at na approve ung visa HINDI xa sa kasama sa PR kasi nga NON-MIGRATING.. So if gus2 m tlga xa masama sa PR m u have to declare her as MIGRATING DEPENDENT..

@amcasperforu..

If u will declare ur mom as NON-MIGRATING or MIGRATING dependent the whole process will still be thesame.. The only difference is pag na approve visa m, sa NON-MIGRATING hndi xa ksama sa PR m, pro pag MIGRATING kasama xa.

So better to declare as migrating..

Read the first page of this thread, my mga info kang makukuha dun kng anu gnwa ng isang member d2 at nsama nya mom nya sa application nya as migrating.

Medyo madugo pala talaga pag gusto mo isama parents/sibling mo. :(

Question lang, gusto ko lang po manigurado, pede ko ba gawing un ate, mom and dad as dependent? kung nakatira kami sa iisang bahay, meron kami tindahan na sa ate ko nakapangalan, un ang isa sa pinagkukuhanan ng income, and monthly ako nagbibigay ng pera sa parents ko pro inaabot ko lang ung pera and hindi po bank to bank na transaction. parang wala ata to pagasa na maging dependent kht isa sa kanila? hay

@amcasperforu..Yup xa un.. Kaya nga ehh.. Kailangan m tlga ng strong evidence to prove the dependency of ur mom to u. Wla xang byad, bale 1 payment lg kau..

So pag my isasama kang dependent other than that mlaking question sa kanla yan..

Pwde m silang gawing dependent but u have to provide strong evidences..

So pag siblings and parents, mdyo mahirap tlga yan..

@amcasperforu..Hindi natin masasabi yan, but it has chances na madedelayed.. But if u believe that u have strong evidences to prove the depedency of ur mom, wla kang dapt na e worry..lalo't lalo na widowed na xa at wla xang mga government allowances na nattanggap.

@nfronda, what if part na sya ng mag mimigrate at hindi na dun sa non-migrating, will they ask for those proofs pa rin like finances and dependencies?

Pahirapan kasi ung proof na dpat iprovide. Is there any other way para maisama ko sila?
    @DontStopBelieving
Pwde m silang gawing dependent but u have to provide strong evidences..

So pag siblings and parents, mdyo mahirap tlga yan..

@DontStopBelieving..as ur mom and dad is still living together, hndi cla consider na dependent sau kahit na nagbibgay ka ng allowance sa kanla. As what u have said my businesss kau, so kahit isa sa kanla wlang magiging dependent m ksi my source of income ung family other than u. Even ikw ung nagbibgay ng capital hndi magiging proof un ksi the profit of the business will be considered as ur source of income..

Kng gus2 m cla papuntahin ng Oz they need to apply 4 their own visa..

Sa sister m, kng nasa SOL or CSOL ung job nya pwde xang mag apply ng working visa.

Sa parents m namn pwde cla mag apply ng parents visa but it will cost u lot of lot of money which is over 40k AUD..

So ung another option is tourist visa na ang pnakalonger stay nla as tourist is 1yr.

Problema ko din to kung isasama ko yung mother in law ko sa application. Matanda na din kasi yun, widow for 20 years and retired teacher. May maliit na pension nakukuha as retired teacher (10k pesos yata). If may problema pa sa pag prove na dependent sayo yun parents so posible talagang madelay yung buong visa namin.

@nfronda, yup single. Uhmm meron kasi akong nakita dun na organize your health examination. I clicked the link then open a new window with some health questions, after submitting it another page appears, may two buttons, print medical history tsaka referal letter. Nag save ako ng pdf, referal letter sya na nakalagay eMedical Referal Letter with my TRN and bar code number.

Should we proceed to have the medicals? By the way, we went sa NBI earlier, grabe 3 weeks bago makuha :(
