Seeking for advice

Hello po! I just would like to hear your opinions regarding what happened to my husband and his co-workers/housemates last month. They are all on 457 visa arrived on Australia last January. They bought a car para may service sila 4 at nakapangalan yun kay Housemate A, sya daw kasi ang bibili nun once na nagka budget na sya. Unfortunately nalipat ng branch si Housemate A. Kaya nagpasama sya sa husband ko and the rest na titingin daw sya ng service nya. Nung pauwi na sila binaba nila yung isa nilang kasama sa friend nito so 3 na lang sila and they met an accident. And ayun nga may nakabanggaan sila na isa pang kotse. So here is the dilemma. May law ba ang Australia about this? I need your opinions po.

    @alliexander ; i am not a lawyer, pero madami na ko nabasa na ganyang situation.

    basically, whoever is behind the wheel has the ultimate responsibility of the car.

    lets get another example, if a passenger didnt wear a seatbelt, penalty and demerit points goes against the driver , not the passenger.

    another example, recently happened in sydney;

    (true but sad story) on the way to work, 4 mates got into accident.
    Driver survived but one of the passenger died.
    The family of the passenger is exercising legal actions against the driver.
    kasalanan ba ng passenger sa masamang sinapit nya?

    but to answer your question:

    sino dapat magbayad, dapat ba kayo tumulong???

    usapang magkaibigan na yan.
