Para sa mga skilled - independent po dito. Gaano katagal bago kayo nakahanap jg work? At sa Pinas or Au po ba kayo nakahanap?

    Sa AU na po ako nakahanap, pero meron po mga iba dito sa PH pa lang nakakuha na ng job. Yun mga highly skilled kasi, sa PH pa lang kinukuha na agad ng companies baka maunahan pa ng iba pagdating dito. Tama ba @ice? Hahaha. Average time po is 2-3 months, 1 month kapag sinuswerte. :) Be at the right place at the right time lang talaga ika nga. Apply lang ng madami, sigurado meron at least isa dun na tatawagan ka. :)

    Mas advisable ba na sa AU Kasi preferable ng mga employer na nasa AU na yung tao? Nagaapply apply na ako the past few days. Walang nagrereply, dahil ba holiday po ngayong last week of December?

    Yep baka dahil po holiday. In my humble opinion, mas gusto nila andito na un tao. Although case to case basis talaga. Kapag urgent yun need, syempre gusto nila andito para makapag-start agad.

    holiday pa.. balik yang mga yan sa january... most probably 2nd wk...
    nasa bakasyon pa sila malamang...

    pero mas pinapansin talaga pag andito ka na.

    Depende yata sa industry mo. Kung kailangan nila ng tao dahil kulang sila. Sa field namin, wala ako kilalang Pinoy na skilled migrant ang entry. Lahat employer ang nagdadala/sponsor to Australia. :)

    Tama ka po, sobrang hectic dito at wala ng family values. Puro work work work... Sa company namin pag nagbakasyon ka, iba na ang tingin sayo.

    Sir, if you have US experience, I don't think mahihirapan ka maghanap ng trabaho sa Oz.

    Etong observation ko base sa nakikita ko at experience na rin ng mga colleague na andun na. Pag may US, Canada, UK or first-world experience, binibigyan nila priority sa trabaho. Tsaka syempre yung mga may local experience.

    Yup I agree with you sobrang hectic dyan at yung work kapag nag bakasyon ka ng matagal magdadalawang isip ka baka pagbalik mo may notice kana... just kidding...

    Here in Australia.. mas relaxing dito mag work... dipende din naman sa trabaho pero halos lahat ng mga company kapag ang employee may holiday leave hinahayaan nila. Minsan nga puede pa manghiram ng ilang days i offset na lang in the following annual leave hours. May Fairwork system ang gobyerno na dapat sundin ng mga employer

    Lalo kung mag-trabaho ka sa government mas magaan. Sa oz marami din benefit at rights na makukuha at isa pa malaki ang pasahod dito pero dipende pa rin sa work. Mas expensive ang bilihin at bahay compare sa US pero affordable naman.

    Ang Australia madami adventure na mapupuntahan like camping ang mas maganda dito.

    @lock_code2004: Sir, tingin ko ayaw lang gumastos nung company. Kasi po they would have to provide relocation benefits if they have to "relocate" you. I think it's pretty standard sa kanila re: relocation allowance, especially as you're coming from overseas. If interstate, baka generally easier.

    Samin, may mga ospital hindi willing mag-relocate. Took me 20+ applications to find my employer kasi mas gusto ng iba yung may onshore experience, na wala ako. Pero marami pa rin dyan who will hire from overseas. Hanap-hanap pa po kayo. :)

    Sa Canada nag try na rin kau? Mahirap din ba mag apply ng Permanent resident dyan? Yup try nyo dito sa oz mag apply ng PR. Importante talaga Permanent resident visa sa ibang bansa para no worries. Parehas ang benefit na makukuha kapag PR at Citizen dito ang pinagka iba lang di ka puede bumoto at mag work sa defense, pero may government jobs na puede ka mag apply kahit PR ka. Goodluck
